Director of Public Prosecutions wants Rex Kanyike killing probe expedited

The office of the Director of Public Prosecution has directed the Independent Policing Oversight Authority to conclude investigations into the alleged killing of 29-year-old Rex Kanyike Masai by a police officer. In a statement, the office of the DPP wants IPOA to conduct thorough investigations and file a report within 21 days. This comes as Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition is demanding the resignation of the Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome and the Nairobi police commander Adamson Bungei following the killing of Rex during anti finance bill protests on Thursday in Nairobi.
