Synopsis
Yasemin (Nurgul Yesilcay) is a 25-year old girl who works in an advertisement company. She plans to get married Mehmet (Caner Kurtaran) but one week before their wedding, she finds out that her fiancé is cheating on her with her best friend. After this betrayal, she loses her belief in love, marriage and innocence and immediately goes to Bodrum (a touristic place in western Turkey) where her mother lives. In Bodrum, Yasemin goes to the night pub and out of pure coincidence she comes across Savas (Murat Yildirim) who turns her life upside down. They spend one night together but in the morning, Yasemin disappears without leaving any track but just a necklace. This one night stand which is the beginning of the hope for a greater love changes both the life of Yasemin and Savas. In love and punishment (ask ve ceza) tv series story, you will explore a love story which is surrounded with secrets. Will Savas manage to find Yasemin and express his feelings? Will the difference between East and West affect their relationship? Will all the secrets be revealed?
I have watched this show a long time ago, but a song from one of the scenes makes me watch it again. I don't regret it.

@@dewiana7294 elimi birakma is an awesome series with star studded cast. This series, however is one of THE best on my list and I have watched close to 100 Turkish series in the past 3 years!

Love, love, love this series. Nurgul is in one word, Brilliant! as in all her series anyways. My first encounter with Murat and I am instantly a fan of him too!

Notice the famous white cat statue in the city of Van (9:57) and at 19:18 the Galata Tower, which dominates the city, being a 360 degree overview of the city . The city of Istanbul is a character in the series. So many historic places are featured in this as a backdrop in many scenes.

Actually I could not understand the later part of the show as the English subtitles ended around epi 46 or thereabouts.
But me very hero - I ll just play and watch and I do get the jiss of the whole story line in the end. As long as the story had a happy ending, I am happy

Please be warned that if you start watching this version of the series by WECO it will leave you hanging at the end of Episode 72 which is 52 in the original series. I am so annoyed as I’ve invested a lot of time in watching this. I am now watching the last 10 episodes in Turkish with no subtitles. I can get the gist of it! I wish someone had warned me and I would not have started watching it !

Since this show pop out today and while waiting for Season 2 of Emanet which I love mainly becoz I love the main couple (Halil Ibrahim Ceyhan and Sila Turkoglu) who had such great chemistry on screen - This series "ask-ve-ceza" started off with some mystery and good episode one for an International Fan - Just hope it'll be good onwards. Very good it comes with english subtitles

Yes Yes - decided not to watch anymore pre-episodes videos of Emanet as it makes me anxious yet curious to check out my beloved couple - Missing them terribly dear HALIL & SILA. Another fan suggested for me to watch this series and I decided to last week and now am at episode 50 which I understand this series only 62 episodes ... It turn out really good series ok - easy to watch, stress on strong family tradition and the love of the main couple. They definitely cannot beat the chemistry of our dear Yaman & Seher but its still a very good series to watch. I am enjoying the open-ness of the main couple and the overall story. Not like the crazy writer of Emanet. Anyway, I like Cicik brother too - handsome man. And now I found out Savas is also acting in Ramo or something. Will check it out when I finish and if Emanet S2 still not out.
If you are watching this series, wish to know if you agree with me - Yasemin dressing is so good compared with our dear Seher right?
And mind you - this series was filmed 10 yrs ago!!!! Gosh, how can they let Seher dress the way she does as the lady of the mansion!!!

@@virginiawells2370 I do like this series and have re-watch till episode 10 again but the pull to check out Emanet is too strong and then I'll go back to Emanet. Still love Emanet the best. Another fan told me to watch "INNONENCE" and I watched till epi. 14 and give up. I do not like that the main actress who loves the rich man (her father's boss) so crazily and he too just play with her as she is young etc. I usually do not like the woman to be very strong and do things her way without bother with anyone (in this instance she keep lying to her mother who suspect from the start on the relationship) then she got pregnant & the man didn't want the baby ... Also wathced two others but tend to compare with Yaman and Seher and so far NOONE is near. So I give up all of the series (3 of them) halfway!!!! Anyway another week ++ to Season 2 so will just watch the pre-episodes who keep reporting the same story again and again 😨😨😱😱😱🤣🤣🤣
Pls don't watch Emanet. We have better series. Emanet is so bad and there is nothing happening. But of course this is your choose. The actors are good but the story is so annoying. Just saying sis.😘

There are some great and also sad things that happen in those final 10 1.5 hour episodes. Several years ago I paid a company to translate the series, so I have that version. @@meganda1468 thank you so much, i sort of understand it a bit. The episodes where Savasa was in jailed and last episode where the two of them were talking. Although I would like to watch all of the remaining episodes. Ps i can't get passed this series. Can Yaman was my favorite, but after watching Murat Yildirim he absolutely replaced Can Yaman. I mean Murat is not most handsome or attractive of the acting World, but there is something special about him, the way he talk walk the expression of his face, oh dear i can go on and on. And this is coming from senior citizens, i mean + 60 years 😊🌹🕋🇿🇦
