Depends what style and your hair type. My hair is fine and used to straighten my hair back in the day then I realised if I just use a comb to straighten out whilst it is wet and let it dry naturally it actually drys straight with no need to blow dry. Put argan oil in your hair and then blow dry to give it some volume and my hair never gets wavy even in humidity because the oil will not allow it to penetrate the hair! Try it!

I am not sure if you may like buzzing your hair as a new haircut but I think it will look really good on you cause you have a killer jaw as well as it will be something different cause you do say a lot to get out of your comfort zone and try new thing so it will be a good idea in my opinion.
