The french canadian réel is named Le réel du carnaval From Ferdinand Dionne from st anne de La pocatiere Québec I was told that he composed this tune for the annual carnaval of this place
just this afternoon I stumbled over the name of the quebec reel. played by Shane Cook who is no slowcoach either. "two-step D'Armand" is the title. Can't keep up with Shane yet, but better days are coming.
