This is such an incredible game. At all point during mid and end game the ennemy team felt like an impassable wall, especially because of the Malphite, and yet you found the cracks to completely break it open for your team. I am very impressed.
With what you are saying about giving Irelia's Q an AP ratio for the heal. I wish they would explore more options for champions to have more build options. Finding and playing unique playstyles, IMO, is what is one of the most fun things in the game.

So i did have an ap irelia phase, i used to still go bork tho
Bork, nashors, riftmaker/night harvester, dcap, horizon focus, it felt pretty decent. Like lategame id say ap irelia is better than ad, and starting with bork lets you kinda skip early game, also bork + nashoros synergize pretty well for good dps. And finally bork doesnt even scale with ad so you dont lose out on anything by going ap atleast for that item alone. I also tried bork nashors guinsoos once sith AS boots against an ornn and i was cutting through him like butter

Also you didnt take thefruit plant in the enemy jungle but just walked by it even you had full vision of enemies at other corner but instead took only the fruit plants in the river but only then to recall wtf
Also right after that the fight after the first mid tower go destroyed you killed enemies and lost your hp and tried to chase but waite and wasted time you didnt even see rigt next to you again a fruit plant so you could heal up and then you coul dchase to clean up more confident with full hp
