    What he is actually saying is that he want to create strategic export and exit points for minerals to be shipped then fly out of South Africa.
    we will never allow our country and citizens to be exploited. like in the past.

      Ina says; Thapelo, selfishness and controlling is not a business opportunity. It is always the poor people that suffers under rich people's capitalism and i am not saying that all rich people are capitalists. Someone also mentioned the new world order. This will be a ongoing phenomenon in the rich countries, nothing new about it. Rich want to become richer no matter how many dead bodies they climb over to get their way.
      In my opinion most people just want to live financial free.

      But he's made the money already - abroad, he may still want to make more, but if you profit off your passion is that a negative thing? If it benefits the country and it's done by South Africans, I say go for it. We need jobs, we need the infrastructure that facilitates that. Our politicians are making money as well, in troves, but it's decapitating the country, so if there's a viable alternative I say let's go for it.

      Have you created employment for thousands of people by starting successful businesses? Are you positively contributing in finding solutions to the problems South Africa is facing? No.. so who here is really the leech, you or Rob? I am of the opinion that people like you are the problem we have as a country. You expect everything to be handed to you - and make up excuses for why you cannot achieve your own success. You are quick to diminish someone's accomplishments just because of their skin colour yet what have you done in your life to take such a moral high standing?
      South Africa has no room for thinking like you. I don't want to share the success that we will achieve with people like you. You are not prepared to work hard, achieve success and give back. So please, do not comment on other people's success and diminish it. Have you built schools, community centers or even just basic sheltered toilets for your community? Please send me proof if you have done so and I will retract my statements, until then..
      You haven't achieved anything close to what he has - so shut the f*ck up.

    You weren’t born lucky you benefited from apartheid regime and i hope people don’t get me wrong I’m not saying he chose to be born as a white privilege person which is 85% of them anyway

    • @Jm-sy2ks
      @Jm-sy2ks 2 роки тому

      27 years are enough to undo the legacy of apartheid. You can't reject opportunities to create jobs because their are brought forth by a white person.

    • @MnrBloemie
      @MnrBloemie 2 роки тому +4

      He was lucky and he acknowledges that his family has benefited from the old political system. He doesn't make excuses for that fact - he is an entrepreneur and he played the cards he was dealt. Also, Rob didn't make his billions IN South Africa DURING apartheid - there's a massive difference. He created his wealth overseas. The majority of which came after apartheid ended. The apartheid regime didn't support Sportal, Adoreum, Marquis Jet Europe or any of his startups. He had Rupert Murdoch as his mentor and his airline was bought by Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway.
      When you attribute 'apartheid' to the success of someone like Rob Hersov I find it very insulting as an entrepreneur - because creating sustainable business en creating EMPLOYMENT is not easy and not for the fainthearted. Business is very difficult. Rob applied himself to his studies and his profession and he made a success. There are many other 'white South Africans' who directly benefited from the apartheid regime with nothing close to show for it.
      So before you speculate on why a person is successful do a bit of background research first. Rob is self-made - unlike Cyril Ramaphosa. Let's not forget how Cyril got to where he is.
