B4 the trip i was dreaming of capturing as much footages as possible, be it photos or video, but as the tiredness overwhelmed my body, all i wanted in reality, was to reach the campsite n rest. Actually only myself to blame bcoz taking training for granted n cut corner, silly me ! Too late to regret with 17kg load (17kg at the starting point only, after few hours it literally "became" 70kg) n endless hike, adoiii

First in Singapore, second was in New Zealand. I'm 53 in 2024. Still loving outdoors for health and longevity and to keep me sane from this crazy world that we are living in right now.

Their dedication to ensuring the safety of every hiker is remarkable, but what truly stands out is their warmth and friendliness. Though they may appear shy at first, once you start chatting with them, you'll be amazed by how much they know about the forest, survival techniques, encounters in the wild, rescue operations ...etc. Their passion for the jungle and how much they care about keeping it safe really shows. For me is a privilege to learn from them, and it makes each of my hike so much more meaningful 😆

Backpack - i select the one yang ada shoulder, back & waist support. terutama sekali yang ada netting for ventilation. Berpeluh kuat masa hiking. ☺
I'm a few members left pioneer from Kuala Tahan to Gunung Tahan to Merapoh 1984 plus an American nurse Jasmin(the late .. she probably the first matsalleh woman to do so)we open the new track down to Merapoh.
Great adventure video. I’ve been waiting a while for this video release. The song is energetic to reflect this kind of adventure that requires strength and perseverance. Good job! It’s sad that many Malaysians still have not step foot into Taman Negara not to mention climbing Mt Tahan. It’s a bit too humid and hot for me because our outdoor climate here makes me unbearable 😅 But I’m certainly going back to the Himalayas again for the cool hiking temperature that is more appealing to me.
