He knows that while she's holding his hand, there's a chance she'll jump, make a death grip on his hand out of fear, and potentially pull him down with her. He's bracing to pull his hand away in case she does this. Smart man there

I went to the New Zealand one I almost died cause they push me HARD and I was the YOUNGEST one their I was only like SEVEN and it was before I started making vids and my rope snapped but the good news is that I was only like 15 feet from the ground when I was hanging from the bungee cord and I climbed up on the rope but the bad news is when it disconnected I was 32 feet from the ground I climbed 13 ft and they pulled me like 4 feet and I fell in water and some random 21 year old girl jumped in the water and save me but I couldn’t wake up so she took me to the hospital and I thanked her for saving my life and this story happened at 2020 may 27 lol
