Man i was just listening to the original and imagining covering it. I would do damn near what you did. I dont know why QOTSA went uptempo and didnt stretch out the solo, and you caught the same thing i did. But their video does have 31 million hits, and i play guitar in my bedroom, to be fair:)
The solo was absolutely beautiful
at least once a week i boot up my wii, load up guitar hero 5, and shred that solo. i love it. been doing it for years.
