This man’s soul is so so so beautiful. So beautiful. His words are poetry. My heart literally felt like it was swelling up when I listened to this. I mean “literally”. My soul feels on fire for him.
Yusuf is articulate and very thoughtful. Thank you Frontline for giving him a voice. Not once did he call Trump a name or show anger toward him for all the wrong Trump did to him. Yusuf taught me a lot listening to this interview. Thank you, Yusuf. I hope DT listens to this interview.
He's extremely well-spoken and respectful considering how poorly he was treated throughout his life. I thought he was a Harvard grad. I am not sure I could be if I was in his shoes. He's an amazing person. 💪💪💪 Trump's treatment of the CP5 should disqualify him. He should apologize
Karendal Sadik wrong place wrong time. Extremely bad luck and the culture they were faced with sealed their fates. It's a tragedy. But he really made me feel hope for humanity. He has been through the worst life can offer, and perseveres. I would be full of spite.
In our corner of the world here in south western Canada, within the "kaleidascope of humanity", there is a feeling and a statement being passed around that the USA is about to collapse. After hearing Yusef here, I realize that the past of the current president is the problem who is "leading the ship through tangled waters". Honest and good people are capable of changing the man at the helm through democracy, if the are allowed to speak, if they are given a place to do it. Americans should be proud of PBS. You have a COUNTRY that can still lead. I feel like I can believe in the ability of America to pull themselves together. Theres allot riding on your choice America, let the people be heard. Listening to hatred and impure news will not solve your issues, will not let you continue to grow. Yusef, thank you for being the principled person that your family raised you to be. Peace :)
Yusef, Thank you so very much for this honest and intelligent interview. It was extremely powerful. Please do get out there and keep on talking truth to power. It is so sorely needed. Once again, I thank you for your willingness to tell your truth.
Yes. And systemic profiteering that's keeping poor people poorer than their predecessors. I think this young man is incredible, I will make my daughter watch this.
I seen a news interview with one of of Yusuf classmates in the 80’s and she spoke on how nice calm and loving he was so the disbelief of the crime he was accused of didn’t make sense… 30+yrs later still the same
People that called for this man's death and decades after he was absolved still do not have the remorse to say I'm sorry deserve the same amount of hell this man endured, albeit wrongfully.
He's wrong the SYSTEM DOES WORK. It WORKS AGAINST us like it was meant to. I remember this in NYC i was very young. I'm very sorry of what happen to them, us and what continues to happen.
Why? This guy is guilty as fuck. Anyone that feels sympathy for these guys is misinformed. He was there that night. This guy specifically was attacking random people with a lead pipe. He and his friend's admitted to attacking that woman. The prosecutor and detectives are outraged about these scumbags. Now they're running around acting like innocent victims that didn't do nothing. If I ever ran into one of these people I would definitely commit a crime.

The melodrama and odd use of confused metaphor towards the end of this interview should have been edited out. Trump should have admitted he was wrong.
