    Class act from Spencer at the end there. He could have easily walked away but he took the time to inform the ref, shows he respects his opponents.

      Spencer Lee is a class guy, but most wrestlers would do the same thing. Let’s not pretend that this is something he’d only do.

      @@znhait you make a semi-valid point, but to be honest, I've never seen any other wrestler point out that his opponent is hurt like I just watched Spencer do. You can hear it in his voice that he's genuinely concerned and wants the ref to know.

    Those tilts make it look like he’s cheating lol 😂. He makes it look too easy, and I know it’s very difficult to tilt an opponent and not get put on your own back. I’m so excited to see Spencer this year, and go for that 3rd Medal.

    With being up by 14, I wonder why he did not take top and try for the pin? Is is working on getting off bottom. Great wrestler and class act. It's fun watching him cheer for his teammates as well.

      Easier to just take the tech fall 🤷🏿‍♂️ no point in going on top and expending more energy trying to keep up with a guy moving on bottom when you can end the match in a couple of moves on bottom

      It's very very very hard to turn guys in d1. Most guys can't even ride let alone tilt. This guy is a mutant.

    • @danielchen3545

      If it was easy to tilt, everybody would be doing it

    • @znhait
      @znhait 4 роки тому +1

      Remember that Lee is 125lbs. It is a lot easier to tilt someone who is 125lbs than it is to tilt someone 165lbs. Look at the Penn State guys-referring to Zain, Nolf, and Nickal. All were more dominant than Lee-Lee has already lost more matches than them in college-but they got points in other ways. At those weights, it’s just harder to control opponents in such a manner without exposing yourself to getting reversed and maybe pinned. You can refer to pull ups as an example. It’s a lot easier for a small person to do pull ups than it is for a big guy.
