    The original title of these videos was "MAD" followed by the title. This documentary is YEARS old.
    Feels a little bit sneaky trying to rename It to "Fallout" just because of the Amazon Prime series.
    This documentary is still pretty good, but this tactic IS still misleading.

      There's a lot of these youtube channels doing this bull$hit. Some are even creating second , 3rd or 4th channels and releasing videos from channel 1 on channel 2 with a different title. Some corporate jag off figured out how to monetize the same $hit and it's really making UA-cam suck even more.

    5:03 Even if the US sued for peace in response to Soviet entry, I think it beats the alternative. Had the Soviets been able to occupy territory in Japan, they would've closed it off like they did with Berlin and East Germany. Avoiding this meant a free Japan that was intact and could be rebuilt as a whole. I also doubt the US wanted to spare the approx 300k casualties (they made Purple Hearts in anticipation), not even to retaliate for Pearl Harbor.

    • @LameName-vj6oj
      @LameName-vj6oj 5 місяців тому

      Actually the Soviets DID invade Japan on The Day of the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb attack Aug.6 1945.
      Stalin ordered the Soviet Army to attack Japanese positions in Manchuria (north-east China) which was Japan’s hardest and most costly battle of WW2.
      Russian could take back what they lost to Japan in the 1905 Russo-Japanese War and at the same time invaded and occupied the Northern-most inhabited islands Kiril Islands (Sakhalin in Russian) north of Hokkaido in Japan.
      To this day Russia still occupies the Kiril Islands and despite requests by Japan’s recent Prime-Ministers to President Putin, all requests to buy back these occupied islands of Russia have been REJECTED.

    I think people saying that the Atomic Bombs weren't necessary to end the War with Japan are "Monday Quarterbacks". Given what the American Military saw with Okinawa, both the Japanese soldiers and civilians willing to die for their country, and the outcome of the last negotiations it was very possible that Japan would not surrender until destroyed with a least 1 million causalities in 1946-1947. Given what the American Military and President Truman knew at that time dropping the Atomic Bombs were their own viable option. If they had more information they may have only dropped one or none of them.

    This is happening when some people (ISRAIL / USA)want to control the others
    some of the others will obey, like my country and many other country's...
    but always will be someone who will not obey and resist.!
    for the reasons above the humanity has come to this point that you need M.A.D to secure your country's safety
    and remind them that we will lose all in the end...

    Can someone plz answer my question!? Is y has UA-cam became so unwatchable, I mean I tried to watch your video but before doing so I had to watch around two minutes of hideous adverts but my issue is I was hit with MORE ADVERTS after only watching around 3-4minutes of the content which makes it completely unwatchable! Is this how UA-cam is gonna be from now on!? The adverts are so stacked up that even the adverts crash! UA-cam needs to be investigated or shut down because this is horrendous

    Better to lead from the past through example then condemn what can not be changed. Unless, of course, you're only interested in being a dick and shaming. Then, by all means, carry on. There's a good chance you'll get your point across and deteriorate the social fabric of society. Kinda like what's happened before.
