Im not a vocal coach but i knew from the moment i first watched their mv that these guys are vocally talented..They are all vocalists even their two main rappers are vocalists too..they have 3 main vocalists which were the two that you were commenting on and the other one that started the song and finished it and had the solo dance at the middle (Baekhyun) and the one who were saying with the darker tone was D.O his voice is smooth and clear and he usually do ad-lib on most of their songs he has a great RnB tone too. and finally my bias of the group the one you liked with the brighter tone is Chen he is the one who usually sings the high notes in most o their songs and just like his tone his personalty is bright too..His solo stuff he released this year and his latest and second album got released at the beginning of this month.. every time I watch the video that he's watching I'm always amazed by Baekhyun coz he's not just good at singing but also at dancing. The two rappers (Sehun & Chanyeol) do sound the same in Monster, but you can definitely hear the difference in their subunit EXO-SC. They both have a dark tone voice, so when they rap they blend quite nice. Chanyeol has a slightly darker tone tho, while Sehun has a more laid back tone. I find their rapping different & new that's why I like it.

The two rappers (Sehun & Chanyeol) do sound the same in Monster, but you can definitely hear the difference in their subunit EXO-SC. They both have a dark tone voice, so when they rap they blend quite nice. Chanyeol has a slightly darker tone tho, while Sehun has a more laid back tone. I find their rapping different & new that's why I like it.
