When the need for water regulation of the upper Hudson River became obvious, building a reservoir in the Sacandaga Valley was an unpopular solution. This film chronicles the incredible journey of this undertaking including first-hand accounts of valley residents.

WOW - so much great info. This task was an amazing accomplishment. We enjoy the lake so much today and life here, but my heart hurts for those who lost their homes and gave up so much for those in the future. My thanks to those who made this sacrifice and to those who produced this historic video.
