Bending but not Breaking: Working with Limber Pine in Bonsai Art
Вставка

- Limber pine is undoubtedly one of my favorite species of pines in the US. This particular species bears a striking resemblance to the European Pinus Cembra and Japanese Pinus Parviflora. However, working with old branches of the Limber pine can be challenging as they have a tendency to snap easily. In this video, I had the opportunity to work with a fantastic yamadori Limber pine that was collected in Wyoming by Steve Varland and Dan Wiederrecht. I must say that the final result after the work was nothing short of impressive and surpassed all of my expectations. Join me as we explore the art of bonsai and the beauty of the Limber pine.

This is phenomenal. Really beautiful indeed.
That finish was amazing! How many people would have even considered bringing in that back branch!

Impressive work and interpretation Mauro...as ALWAYS.
Limber pines are just that… flexible (limber) to protect the branches from snapping under a heavy snow load. Very nice work!
GOD TIER
Always inspiring to see you work and transform the trees to a beautiful piece of art
Amazing, amazing, nothing more I can say, always amazing but this tree maybe is my TOP.

I have a large white pine that has a straight trunk I would love to put a bend in it but I’m nervous about snapping the trunk
Be careful
Very beautiful creation! Just a quick question - do you get any residue from the glue of the electrical tape on the tree?
It goes away very fast
Where can I buy the Tshirt you are wearing?
what kind of after care is needed for ild pines after being collected?
Pure pumice , no water and full sun
