I had several of these on my lost already, but I added Too Old for This and 8114! Some on my list that may interest you: The Way Up is Death by Dan Hanks Strange Pictures by Uketsu (the English translation) Listen to Your Sister by Neena Viel They Bloom at Night by Trang Thanh Tran You Killed Me First by John Marrs The Cut by C.J. Dotson Bat Eater by Kylie Lee Baker Overgrowth by Mira Grant Be Gay, Do Crime by Molly Llewellyn Lucky Day by Chuck Tingle
🎁Love the light up sweater!! So fun!! I have added 11 of these books to my possible purchases for 2025, but now that I am participating in Bingo Board from Hell for the first time, I must choose oh so wisely. 😂
I very recently read (and loved!) “How to Solve Your Own Murder” by Kristen Perrin, so I was very pleased to see that “How to Seal Your Own Fate” is due to be published on March 27th
I kept wanting to start the Bone Season several times over the years and just didn't get to it and then when the revised editions came out, I was so glad I never started! Now I am so looking forward to reading all 5 books next year. The only problem is I have the first 4 in the original editions and now I also have the new editions. I am not sure I want to get rid of the older editions since I am a book hoarder!
I gave At the Bottom of the Garden a try and it's one I think you need to be more in the mood for a very slow story with unlikable characters - I may try it at another time - the gothic vibes were definitely there though!
Much like your note about the new Scalzi book, that's how I feel about the new Stiefvater: if any other author gave me that premise, I simply wouldn't care. But oooooooh, her writing ALWAYS gets me. Also, I saw another UK cover with the bluish background and way more color and I am 👀
Random question: how do you pick the next book you read? I always have decision paralysis where I pick up and put down so many books before I land on one.
I don't think The Strength of the Few is actually coming out in May. Islington posted his book updates this month and he says there's no release date yet. He sent the manuscript for editing 6 months ago and that's still not back. It's interesting that goodreads took away the ability for people to add new books willy nilly, but librarians are still adding books with incorrect info.
Ooooh we love the light up shirt! 🎁Thank you for sharing these, I found a few to add to my list =)
🎁 some of these books have intrigued me….pushing into new genres for me :). Thanks Winn!
These all sounds soo good! I need to have them all🎁🧡
Yay March babies! We rule! :D And argh, more books I want for spendy spendy.... 🎁

Will you be livestreaming the Fools Errand for fitzalong? If so, do you have a time and date for it?
