The Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach Resort Montego Beach in Jamaica - A Review

In June I spent four nights at the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach resort in Montego Bay in Jamaica. This was my first post-pandemic trip and I wanted to take it easy. I wanted an all inclusive by the beach with good food and the Royal Decameron fit the bill.
As previously mentioned, it was a short trip and I had undertaken just two excursions - one to the Luminous Lagoon and the other a longer trip to the YS Falls.

This resort is part of the Royal Decameron chain and the Royal Decameron Montego Beach Resort is the neighbor to the right.
With ‘only’ 146 rooms, the Cornwall Beach resort is a smaller one compared to some of the other all-inclusives I have been to.
The resort is just about ten minutes away from the Montego Bay airport which is nice.
We had arrived around 2 pm and the room was not ready, but we could enjoy the buffet lunch. It was a splendid feeling to be in a humid dining room with all the traits of a tropical country after two years.

Icame home one day and found my favorite beach gone. The hard working staff gone. It's a shame that privatization is destroying the local community.

@@virgoladi Entertainment at the Cornwall was modest -- there was live music in the evenings but most people watched from their balconies. The Montego Bay Resort had more outdoor entertainment on Fri & Sat. But I think if you want a nightclub vibe you will have to go outside of the resort/s.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. They have the poorest customer service and the shabbiest rooms. And if you happen to be Jamaican you get the worst treatment
