Quick feedback from a local Pondicherrian who also works in video production: 1. Love the video cuts and shots. The production, as a solo vlogger, is pretty damn awesome and better than most such videos on the internet (probably why I even felt like commenting on this!). So kudos on that, and the edit. 2. Avoid staying as far off as Sona Residency. You'd get some cool spots in North Pondy in the Vaithikuppam area. Or between Pondy and Auroville. Sona Residency and that area is totally out of the way and for a local it's 'quite far'. It also has no real Pondy vibes, with that area getting developed relatively recently to support the growth in industry and economy in the town. 3. Boat house experience really isn't a Pondy thing. It's better done in Kerala or elsewhere. 4. That beach you reached with the backwaters and the sea is really a very touristy thing and started recently. It's worth going to, I suppose. And has a safe area to dip your feet in the water etc. It is a synthetic touristic experience, though, like the boat house. Both of those are not actual Pondy experiences, but created to cater to tourists who keep asking for 'yahan karne ko kya hai?'. 5. Le Cafe is crap. Always has been. It isn't popular. It just is the only place that's so close to the sea and it's open almost 24x7. Nothing there tastes good, nor is it really worth sitting at now that you can sit on the rocks beyond that. Avoid that place unless you're just dead bored or it's 4am and you want to get a cup of tea and sit on a table by the sea. 6. Spot on about Cafe des Arts. It is amazing. And the most popular cafe in town. 7. Punjabi Dhaba was such a niche local find. Most tourists never know of it. Most locals aren't aware of it. So well done on discovering that little spot. 8. HANSSSS!!!! Awesome guy :) 9. Walking through White Town is definitely the best way to explore Pondy. Day 2 is stellar! 10. Serenity Beach is also massively touristy. Osudu Lake is a pretty nice and secluded, chill place. Good find!
These are wonderful points, went for girls trip once and wished someone told us about these. Things with too much hype actually doesn't give pondy vibe. Haha
On point about everything but Paradise beach is one of the best beaches I've been to in whole of India. Yes backwaters boat ride isn't worth but there's land route as well. All beaches in Pondy are touristy at this point but Paradise is real clean and runs long so you can have your own spot to enjoy and the horizon is just perfect.
WHAT I love is the life that you have brought into these vlogs. The hustle, the tranquility that you can capture so easily. Whenever I lose motivation, I come to your channel & watch the videos, they literally inspire me to keep going on my own journey as a novice. Loved it again. More power to you girl.
I never paid attention to sunsets until I took a boat ride for snorkeling in Key West. On the return, the bot stopped what seemed like in the middle of the ocean and there was only water around and the Huge Sun going down. I cannot describe what it was like. I felt like i can sense the existence of this universe for the first time

Pondicherry is my all time favourite 🤩, I visited thrice since I moved north and twice when I was in chennai and I will never say no if I get more chance to visit Pondicherry again.rock/promenade beach is the place where I use to go every evening while my stay.
Awesome work ...you are seriously an inspiration for those who are ti8 on der budget and always just dream of exploring various places... Great work...
Nice video. Would've been better if historical significance of the places were also narrated... Like, how the names were derived, Portuguese influence, Etc.
Nice vlog, i have seen many vlogs in that pondicherry means aurobindo ashram, auroville , rock beach......but u covered interiors of pondicherry, after seeing your video being a native i think i should go to some of these restaurants, especially sea gulls.....nice vlog.....
I just came back from Pondicherry and the first thing I want to point out is that getting into those cafes is not as easy if you're not a vlogger. Coromandel Cafe or Cafe Des Arts usually have crazy wait times. I would suggest more picturesque cafes where you can actually get a table: Hope Cafe, Celine's Kitchen, Crepe in Touch, Mersea, and Uncle Pete's Pancakes, are a few of my favorites. The food was delicious and you could actually eat there.
@@Radhika_Nomllers Can you honestly and verifiably tell your viewers to go to Coromandel Cafe or Cafe Des Arts anytime of the year and they will get entry? Because I can tell you now, you would be proven wrong. There was a wait time of one hour to get your name written at Coromandel Cafe. Again, we went there at least four times in two days.
Probably because you went during the holiday season when practically everything is either overbooked or flooded with tourists? Do not come and target the UA-cam community here :) Cheers!
@@Radhika_Nomllers I am not targeting you, however, you are missing an essential part in your vlog, options!!!! There were equally good cafes which weren't as fancy in Pondicherry but you neglected to highlight them. Yes, the streets were littered with tourists but there were crazy lines only at 2-3 cafes. Others were entertaining their guests pretty well. The only thing I regretted in Pondicherry was circling around those cafes to get no food.
