Dat policenauts jingle + Old Snake notes at the start, all of my yes.
I've listened to this so many times, I now expect that snip of the MGS main theme in the middle of the actual song.

This remix is fantastic. Snake Eater is the bulk of the remix but thats not just it. You got the policenauts jiggle and Old Snake (the song not the character) at the beginning with the MGS main theme spliced in the middle between verses.
This was actually a lot better than I was expecting. Usually I'm a bit iffy when it comes to vocal remixes but I was pleasantly surprised by this one :)
The bassline, mainly during the first minute ish is so damn cool. Not sure why but it reminds me of a few cool half life 2 songs. Anyway the entire track is amazing and I love the fact that it integrates every major song in the series
Snake Eater is probably my favorite video game theme ever. Her voice, that song, it was just so got dang perfect for MGS3...I just can't...I don't have words...it did TERRIBLE things to my joy...

Great remix! Took me a bit to realize the vocals weren't just ripped from the original; they sounded very similar! The key change sounded a little straining on the vocalist, but it came out fine in the end. Very well done! :D
This track is simply amazing. I love the way that the different themes are incorporated. I am also very glad to see that OCR is still around, and going strong, after all these years. I remember when you guys first started. Wow, it's been a long time.

Honestly, the vocals are actually my biggest beef with this remix. I love the arrangement, but the vocals just don't sound right to me. Not that she's not a good singer, but she just doesn't have the rich, powerful voice that "Snake Eater" demands

"Snake Eater" was influenced by the old Bond music themes originally. It's not too surprising that the vibe even carries over into this remix too.

Claire Yaxley You misunderstood me. As I wrote, it's a brilliant song, but I would like an instrumental version aswell. Instrumentals are good in their own way.

With the beat in the back and the mix, the vocals fall flat. Not enough umph. The Snake Eater theme needs to be belted out with gusto, with ferver. It's not just any song.
