What are the tire that are recommended? And you get 35x12.5 with some light trimming?

There are a variety of rim and tire size recommendations for this kit but the maximum recommended is a 33 X 11. It may be possible to fit a larger tire with trimming but it has not been tested.

How do I determine if I need the forged upper control arm kit or the kit without?

This kit comes with upper control arms with corrected ball joint angles and a greater ball joint range of motion. There will be no need to add a different control arm after installing this kit. If you are looking at the 3.5 inch lift kits from Rough country, they do offer kits with or without the forged control arms. We typically recommend the kits with the control arms as they have the corrected angles.
