Flying Avianca Air B787 Business Class- Hits and Misses

I flew Avianca Airlines Business Class on the Boeing 787 from Buenos Aires to Bogota! Here's my honest review of the experience!

Too bad Avianca removed their business class from USA to Central America. It was acceptable until May 2022, after that I haven’t travel with them anymore. Delta has an acceptable first class to Central America though. Thank you for the video, happy travels.

Avianca used to be such a better airline. I loved flying with them in 2017-2019.

I was just about to pay for business class. I think I will abort this and go American Airlines from London to Medellin return. Thanks for this review

Thanks. That’s ruled out Avinunca for me. If I’m paying for business I expect a business product beyond a lie flat bed.

That was crazy getting on the plane there. Looks liek ground crew has no idea. I've flown Buiness class many times between London and Bogota on the 787
, been more than happy with the expeirence. From the UK they are the only direct flights (at time of writting) and I think really good value for money. Other connection flights within Colombia on their A320's, I have to pay for the seats up front with more leg room. Being literally head and shoulders taller than most Colombians, those seats aren't designed for me haha.

their business class is affordable so overall is fine. I just can't deal with having no priority for boarding.

Latam, Gol, Azul, SKY, JetSmart, Flybondi etc

None are top tier but LATAM is as good as it gets for the region; especially the lounges in BOG, SCL, and GRU

The Latin airlines are LAZY! LATAM airlines is even worse. No welcome drinks, first drink 75 min after flight takes off with no turbulence. Terrible food. Stale bread. Awful
