How to Program a Key to BMW GS R1250 HP Bike (All Keys Lost Situation)

Hello, friends!
It's been some time since you have seen me working on a bike. So, today I am going to show you how to program a key to a 2020 BMW GS R1250 HP bike, a real beauty. The procedure takes a few minutes in total, coding backup and key programming combined.
Speaking of saving the original coding, this is the first thing to do before starting work. It is very important to have a backup of the original coding in case you run out of battery, for example (which cannot happen to me, since I always have a Battery Support Unit at hand and I am not afraid to use it).
After you save the original coding, you will write it back to the bike and start key learning. The key learning in an All Keys Lost situation for BMW bikes got a lot easier, because of a new cable - the CB307. It is used exclusively in AKL situations and serves to connect AVDI and the EWS/HUF/X_SLZ motorcycle module directly. The rest of the procedure is pretty simple and led by the software. Get the new key and place it on the emergency slot of the bike. Some bikes have it under the seat, others, like this one, rock it on the inside of the rear mudguard.
And there you have it - key programming for BMW bikes without working key present in a matter of minutes! In case you only want to add a key, the EWS connection will not be required, all can be done via OBD.
