Romans 15:4-6 (NKJV)
4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
(God’s word written in the past was for our learning now and for the future.)
(Studying God’s word provides comfort.)
5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,
(God is the God of patience and comfort.)
(Believers are to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus.)
(Prayer will manifest comfort.)
6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Believers are to be of one mind and communication, glorifying God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.)
(Through prayer and study with application we as God’s children will be comforted.)
