@John In Moscow I prefered the indoor ones, but ReZ The Event 2 was a great ReZ, and yip the Platforms were bouncing, i thought they were gonna give way at one point during The Rhythmic State set, they had that big top jumping.!.. Amazing Memories.. 🕊️.. 🤪
1994. So the Scotts pioneered the best dancing in the rave scene? Arm and leg work the best in Europe no doubt. Those QFX, Bass-X, Q-Tex dancers etc on top of their game. Helter Skelter stage dancers at the same time were still bouncing on their hind legs, barely shuffling, and arm work as if they were stuck in '92. Only Scotland & North East were involved in the arms race (spinning arms around like a snake really fast, and making it look good). The PA dancers up north were flinging shapes unconventional, and inconceivable to the human body. Doing flips, and defying gravity. The Scotts were the Kings of rave dancing, 100% fact. With North East England close behind. The Germans could not dance. 100% fact. The best dancers in Holland were 10% lower than normies on the floor in UK raves. 100% fact. I saw no skill in Holland, on the floor, or on stage in 96. Down at Dreamscape/Helter Skelter the Southern Softies on stage looked like they were playing foot whackamole with a hot Yorkshire pud, and fighting off slow moving moths with their arms, it was that pathetic. Basically skillo-zero. First time I travelled down to Helter Skelter I warmed up with a couple of moves in the Sanctuary, and everybody looked at me as if I was Marty McFly playing guitar at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance in 1955. After that I adopted the hot potato dance for the rest of the night to not attract attention. One guy on stage was doing break dancing, but that's from a different source. I was a PA dancer back in the day in the North East/Scotland (my audition was dancing in somebodies front room while they sat on the couch watching, of course I aced the audition process and his mam brought me a cuppa to calm me down after, thanks Vera!) I watched all the PA dancers at the time to mimic(steal) their moves so I soaked up a lot of info from the stage and on the dance floor. Anywhere other than Scotland/NE England was a no go for learning rave dancing skills. It's all lost in time now, as the cameras never focused on the dancers, and the strobe lights always messed up any footage taken.

@Hajdar Kadud You should check out the video "TRS soap on a rope @ Rez - Awakening of '95", (Edinburgh, Scotland New Years Eve 1994 8pm-8am) the tune is much longer they play, and it's a big Anthem Tune here in Scotland, they had the place jumping as usual, the atmosphere in there that night was electric.!!!, also if you haven't already check out "The Rhythmic State" You Tube Channel, some excellent tunes on there......The Best Rave Band in Scotland in the 1990's by far and still going......ENJOY😉...... We had to leave this awesome gig to go & play in Newcastle at 5.30am while roadie for the T.R.S rock Hard Trooper my track in the background playing now. What an amazing gig if we only didn’t have another booking in Newcastle where all the geordies where at the rezerection it wasn’t best planned but all part of the excellent experience, probably our most exciting event we played was the event 2. T.R.S Where Awesome that night. 🙌🫶👊
