I can find bras in my size... trying to buy them online I can’t find any with the padding sewn in. They all seem to be removable and sort of a small stress to put back in after washing. Any suggestions ladies??
Hmm...good question. 🤔 I have a few bras with no padding, and a few that have the small removable pads. I'll pin your comment, so hopefully someone will be able to make a recommendation. ❤️
I can relate!! I lost 120lbs and it took over a year to get used to my size. I'd take my jeans out of the dryer and think... how could I possibly get into them. They slide right on 😅
Wow! 🤩 Congratulations on your 120 pound weight loss! I can relate to taking jeans out of the dryer and thinking...hmm..I don't think this is going to work...but then they fit like a glove. Thank you for sharing your experience! 😊
The other day I was trying to explain to a friend about the phantom body fat thing, about me still feeling big even though I've lost all this weight. She was actually worried about me, thinking I was giving myself a complex, or eating disorder like anorexia. I kept trying to get through to her that I'm still eating a lot of food, and explain the thinking of phantom fat, but it was hard for her to wrap her mind around, especially since she's been small her whole life.
Definitely people treat us differently based on our size, and shopping for any type of clothing is a nightmare. I am about 80lbs overweight now. You give me hope, thank you ❤️
I'm so sorry to hear that you have experienced some of the same issues I dealt with in the past. I'm glad I could be a source of hope. You're very welcome. ❤️
Body image takes way longer than I thought. Walking by a window and seeing your reflection and looking around to see who that was is still surprising to me. My really weird result is even though I've lost weight, (be prepared for TMI), the crotch on my undies doesn't cover everything. My panties size went down, but apparently this will be one of the last places where fat will come off. Elsewhere, loose skin is something I have to live with -- just scars from the damages I've done over my lifetime. Love your channel.
Can you relate to any of the weird changes I experienced after losing weight? 🤷♀️What other good, bad, ugly, or weird things have happened to you in your weight loss journey? 🤔
You totally make sence, all you said has been true for me in the past when I lost 102 lbs. I'm on a vegan journey now n doing great. Thanks for all your videos you are awsome.
I love your channel! You're so calming & pleasant to listen to 🙂 I have been on a healing journey for about 6 years now, and have only managed to keep gaining weight. Ive been attempting to follow a Starch Solution way of eating, but can't seem to make it stick! I don't really have the option of "cleaning up my environment" so I need to be able to just donit anyway. I'm stuck in this horrible cycle, now with 100+ lb to lose & can't seem to get it right. How did you get over the mental aspect of just NOT eating foods that you know don't serve you? It's definitely a mental game of sorts
Thanks so much! I'm so glad that you're loving the channel! 😊 It's definitely a mental game and it's much more challenging when you aren't able to clean up the environment. It took me time to change my mindset and turn things around. Have you read The Pleasure Trap? You may also want to check out my 'Weight Loss Mindset' and 'How I Regained My Health' videos for info about mindset. When you slip up, try to turn things around as soon as possible (at the next meal or snack time). Do your best, and be kind to yourself! ❤️
@@PlantFitMeg Thanks for the tips! I have not read that book but it keeps popping up on my radar so it sounds like something I should do! I'll check out the videos you mentioned as well 🙂
Bra shopping is terrible in plus size unless your band is 48 or less. Walmart used to carry Just My Size bras but no more. In fact there were zero bras in my size yesterday at Walmart or Target. Catherine's, The Avenue, and Stein mart all closed in my town. I found the cheapest bras are at the Just My Size factory store online. Playtex for $16.99 and JMS for similar. I tried the bras on Woman Within but Comfort Choice brand has no lift. Yes bras are awful and the pretty ones are $40 and up in my size.
Funny about the hip bumps. Switch it to bootie bumps. For sure, people do treat fat people differently than skinny ones. I've seen and experienced. I summarize it as, they treat you as more credible because you're a normal size. My friend is still very heavy, and this happens to her all the time. (When I was heavy, I loved that song by Meghan Trainer, It's all About the Bass" where she says "my momma she told me don't worry about your size - She says, boys like a little more booty to hold at night. Okay, who can't smile about that. :- )
Just a question what clothing do you really wear cause I find it difficult to buy clothing. I've got nice legs a big booty but no defined waist still big upper body I feel like a lollipop 😢. Only feel right in my workout clothes
I recommend wearing anything that you're comfortable in and makes you feel good. It was hard to find clothing that fit as I was losing weight, but I would typically wear jeans, a nice top, and cardigan in the office and workout wear/athlesiure otherwise. I dress similarly now too, but have added jumpsuits to the mix. Sometimes buying a larger size in bottoms so that they fit the booty, and then having the waist altered to fit can be helpful. All the best in finding clothing that works for you! 😊
I have been eating this way for 6-8 weeks and haven’t lost not one pound? I am not sure what I am doing wrong? I eat potatoes and broccoli and cauliflower every meal with a little soy sauce and pepper that’s it?
There can be many reasons for not losing weight on the scale. What you eat and drink, stress levels, activity levels, and sleep habits can all play a role. It can also be harder to lose weight if you're already at a healthy weight or are working on the last few pounds. I always recommend consulting with a plant-based/lifestyle medicine doctor for specific concerns. Make sure you're eating enough to feel full and satisfied and give it more time. You could also measure your progress in other ways: progress photos, measurements, the way your clothing fits etc...
@@PlantFitMeg thank you! I am also 59 with a bad back. I am working from home and COVID has halted getting out and about. The only exercise I can do is walking. Maybe I am too much in a hurry!

This was very helpful thank you ❤
My size is difficult to find at a reasonable price. I have to order online, then hope and pray they fit and are comfortable.
😔 That's disappointing. I was hoping that it would be easier to find reasonably priced clothing these days. Thanks for sharing your experience. ❤️
Ever since losing weight. I never noticed my collarbone. I love looking at it

Haha! Yup, booty bumps would work better! It's really sad that people in larger bodies are treated differently. I love that song! Such a catchy tune!
