Just so you know, I live in the area and been down in this culvert. (about four years ago) NO grey water or sewerage runs down it at all. It is purely a culvert for the Bourne stream, and the various other pipes that feed into it are run-off for rain water from the roads etc. :)
Undisclosed location. That sign tells you exactly where it is 🤣. BML - engineers' reference for Bournemouth Mainline. 110 miles and 21 chains from Waterloo
6 minutes towards the end I heard the water getting really loud, started to panic slightly then realised I'd just put the kettle on to boil. As you were.
The 110m 22ch is its location in miles and chains along the Engineering Line of Route detailed at the top of the plank - BML2 (Bournemouth Main Line). It’s a standard railway structure plaque and not the length of the culvert.
The closed and concreted bit to the right raises some questions. Also it seems that at one point there could have been a roof or a cover attached to that opening with the plaque.
I was amazed you never got lost in the sewage tunnels, something you never see what is under your feet ,looked pretty good down there maybe apart from the smell great video Matt
You wanna get yourself over to Weymouth and Portland. Loads of derelict buildings in Weymouth and loads of underground tunnels and interesting places on Portland
Even tho it was just a tunnel it was still awesome to watch alot of place where I live in the US have been closed off so been awhile since me and my buddies have got to go on a good explore, always good to see your videos makes the day much better!
That plaque at the tunnel entrance saying 110m is actually 110 miles, it's the distance from London Paddington Railway station to your location which is a numbered railway structure that goes under a railway line, the BML stands for Bristol Main Line.
The sign above the tunnel is usually to do with railway lines, which I'm guessing is above it or close to it. With BML2 being the code of the railway line (Bournemouth Main Line) Running from Waterloo to Weymouth. 110m 21ch refers to mileage from London. So 110 Miles, 21 Chains.
Oo ah missus, come up the rear? Lol. I bet it would be fun if you popped up out of the maintenance hatches, it would of looked like a wack a mole on a larger scale. Anyway, I'm always interested in what lies beneath our feet unknowingly. 👍👍
Matt a very interesting place to go and visit is the Chislehurst Caves near Bromley, Kent. It was used by the Druids, Romans, Saxtons, and used during World War 2 as an air-raid bunker they do tours around the caves. 👍🏼
@TheSecretVault Your opening into video is a tiny window, not the full video window. You probably already know..... Not usually into sewer explores, just tunnels that go nowhere usually, unless there are artifacts. Only with artifacts does it get interesting, or if you find an odd branch that goes into a secret place.

It could be misconnected homes using the storm drains

When it rains and all the pigeon poop dissolves, that's where it ends up.

That description of the culvert sounds very much like Swindon

I heard recently that Led Zeppelin hired the place for an album launch many decades ago. Everyone attended. The guest list was awesome
Did you burn everything after?!?
The code means Bourne stream Dorset next to the havelock road.
That's deep.
The newer section of the pipe was done by RHP Pipeline in Devon.
Just the whole time 👁 watched 👁 didn't flush for your protection!!!; )
Check out Streetzips he has a beauty culvert under StIves I think

Well, here is one we all could flush:) What did I learn? I guess we'll have to wait for the next exciting episode? lol
30 minutes of paddling in a tunnel of shit. I’d go for a McDonald’s instead! There’s a good one in Poole.
