The woman sitting under the tree at the beginning is Marianne Williamson, presidential candidate and motivational speaker and author. The man in the white wig is me. We shot this back in the '80's at Descanso Gardens in Los Angeles.
Saw Green On Red @ UCLA Cooperage 1983! Keyboard player like a cross between Ray Manzarek and Al Kooper. Great low-budget video for "Gravity Talks" with some of the same Daliesque qualities as Squeeze's "Hourglass" video.
Hey, thanx for this!! They were one of my favorite bands in the '80s, but had never seen this video... and BTW, is the guy in ~ 1:06 reading Pynchon's Gravity's Rainbow??... :-)
Fantastic organ sound!

This song never leaves my memory. This is one of the greatest bands of the 80s, it inpersonates all the spirit of that golden age.
One of my favorite albums! Many people have never heard of this band!
Favorite tune from the Paisley Underground era.

Oooh, yes. The Paisley Underground!
It seemed like almost half of the better music from 83 had some connections to the paisley underground .
