I think the low end thing is valid criticism remedied by your amp's bass knob. I think with pedals a lot of us with boards will also either have a preamp pedal or an EQ on our amp. Overall I might buy this one because I've been nostalgic for my first pedal which was a bass big muff and this really suits that mid-forward fuzzy/dirty metal bass tone I'm after.

The pedal sounds great. Interesting that the overdrive runs parallel with the fuzz. Don’t most people run screamer into muff? Or does the Mids control take care of that mid boost people are looking for when they do that? In that case, mixing the overdrive as a low gain parallel would be even better than blending in clean. I’d probably leave the Blend on wet and just use the Mix knob.
