I find it hilarious how it’s bad that earl beats up Amy but when Amy does it, it’s considered funny. Which also brings up the question of why she just doesn’t beat up earl

Well... it's definitely complicated, but Earl is in the wrong because when he hurts Amy, it's bad. Where when Amy hurts someone like Sonic, the injuries don't last long, they heal with a hour or so.
Plus Earl is abusing Amy while she just goes with a hit and that's it. After all she's in a abusive relationship where she feels like she can't fight back, when she can.

One complaint I have about the comic is Earl. He gives me Jeff vibes from Family Guy's Scream of Silence. He's one-dimensional and over-the-top.

Off topic I really like Tails and Cream's older sounding voices. They just fit them really well. The problem with some Sonic fan comic dubs that are set years in the future Tails still sounds like a kid which is very off putting to me
