All the exhaust stacks on the Orion 7 first gens have a nice sound. The Diesels, CNG's and even the Hybrids
I love how gurgly and throaty it sound’s when the vent is open. This thing is a beast!

I live in the Bronx and I see these buses all day since these buses are used as shuttle buses in my area but these buses are awesome!

I live in the Bronx close to these buses and all I could say is these fucking buses are freaking LOUDDD!!!!! But anyway I love this bus, keep using those before the New Flyer XN40 and XN60 Xcelsiors take over.

I actually prefer the C40LF over the Orion VII because it's not as loud. (Before you ask, I'm referring to the ones that were replaced by the special C40LF order.)

I heard that 10 years ago when I was 4 years old in Brighton Beach and boy oh boy it sure was loud my mom told me ''the engine sounds terrible'' please don't get her wrong.

You're welcome... MTA didn't believe in 6 speed B400R's until they've acquired the 2011-2012 C40LF's. Even our 2002-2004 D60's have B500R5's equipped... thank god the D4500s all have B500R6's.
Actually, the Orion V's have B400R4's... the gears are wider though.

There fine, although the fact that (I think) they retired the Orion vii CNG, I don't like them, just for that reason
@@GrowlingMotors I definitely understand what you mean because the XN40s from MARTA replaced the 2000 and ‘01 C40LFs and also the 2002 and ‘03 Orion VII CNG units too. MARTA has been pretty bland now that the older buses are gone
