7 Football Legends Who Left Their Clubs Against Their Will

- Elite sport, and modern football in particular is a cruel world. For many clubs, the players are the employees who have to carry out tasks. Money takes more and more priority regardless of how effective the player is. And this, even if you’re a legend and you want to stay at the club.
It’s rare to see living legends leave their club against their will, like Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos most recently, both were captains at FC Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively. We’re returning to these painful departures in the following video: 7 football legends who left their clubs against their will.

What about Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol or Abidal !!
Barca even Gave messi a grand goodbye, they could not have fans because of COVID - 19
Spanish clubs are so cruel especially REAL, Most heartbreaking was of CASILLAS
Casillas will always be sad for me.
@iFragZ yeah bro I also think the same. Half of all the players that were kicked out of their clubs were either kicked out by barca or real madrid
I thought Suarez is the most heartbreaking one. Koeman just tell him that he doesn't want to use him anymore 😭
Tbf Casillas couldn't save a word document in his last year and leaked stuff about Mourinho. Im not excusing his horrible departure but just saying why they were so mad at him.
Eitherway they declared peace on each other and now Casillas is back as a Real Madrid honour member

@@football.vibes3087 I like that one Messi Neymar mbappe
@Wille Madrid fans have been saying that for 4 years now and it still hasn't happened
Cruyff had to leave Barca and Ajax against his will
In spain there was a team called Reus Deportiu which played in 2 Spanish division 4 years ago & thanks to the la liga financial rules the 109 years of the club came to an end & it disappeared entirely it doesn’t exist anymore. So thanks to that rule many plays & a club left or disappeared
Seems like Giggs and Scholes were rewarded for their loyalty to the club. The club kept them, playing as a super-sub in occasional matches until they are ready to retire.
Scholes retired and come back again as well.
If your gonna make a ep 2 you must include RVP
Roy Keane too
He will always be the best player in the world 🌎
Yes pls how about an episode 2 ??
And add koeman's Barca departure he left too against his will
But at that time Barcelona was washed up by this point in 1995.

Real Madrid is my favorite club yet i can’t stand how they treat their legends. Btw Messi and Ramos on the same team. Wooohooo 🥳
Perez is a clown
Absolutely a clown.
I was waiting for updated list
i'm an ac milan fans.. and pirlo departure was really an unfair decision. but i'm happy that he left and made a great impression at juventus. he's a really talented player and milan we're really bad at that moment.. and milan still struggling now to make a comeback as their glory days with bad signings and always changing managers.. i thought for sure after berlusconi sold the club, milan would be more greater than before but, its their downfall..
Do a part 2 plzz!
*CONFIRMED* Messi will wear the no. 30 shirt
Good episode must have a second part
Barcelona is the best city that I’ve visited. Imagine living and working there for 20 years and gotta leave for Paris.
Believe me I am a Ronaldo fan but I feel like I am sad for Messi more than anyone else
Honorable mention - Roy keane got kicked out next year he really retired
Nice video
Why am i not surprised? 70-80% of the players are from real and barca....arguably the two biggest clubs in the world yet they lack complete respect for their legend....absolute shame on this 2 clubs....i'm ashamed to be a barca fan now
Pochettino is about to be the greatest coach ever 😂😂
Soon fifa UA-cam players will be doing a "Bacerlona Rebuild"
Real and Barca, two of the greatest clubs in Football, produced as well as kicked out prime talents.
Messi and Casillas made me cry.
Wayne Rooney ManU to Everton, Frank Lampard Chelsea to Man City
Rooney wasn't forced out. He was flirting with the idea of going back to Everton for a few months prior, which United granted. As for Lampard, he couldn't find an outcome with Chelsea
Ramos wanted to play with Messi once and now his wish has come to true
Plz make a second part of this video
Make another video on legends left against his will
No matter the years passing rayen giggs manage to stay at one club
The city could burn to the ground and the mob could gather outside the walls, and yet somehow as long as Messi was in Barcelona red and blue, with a ball at his feet, football felt like a navigable map. Maybe it was all nonsense, a shrewd Matrix simulation of a world that probably never existed. How else, after all, to explain the currents that washed Messi from Rosario to Barcelona in the first place?
But as Messi reluctantly packs his bags for Paris and one of the three clubs in the world who can still afford him, he’s not the only one being short-changed here. The game’s financial compact, its institutions, its labour market, its governance structures, its competitive balance: it’s all broken, all of it, and in saner times this absurd episode would be a moment to pause and reflect, maybe even to recoil and resist.
Instead, a photo opportunity by the Eiffel Tower and a narrative-rich reunion with Neymar await. As Messi put it at the lectern: “At first it will be weird. But people will get used to it, as we always do.”
that was unnecessary but say g

When you see that even Ronaldo and Messi almost got "kicked out" of Real and Barça, anyone can be as well. That's the sad time we're living in, many people always say shit about players not doing the best for the club but just look how the clubs treat the players, it's the same thing. I've seen this in the NBA quite often and now, even in football it's happening. So, yes it's not cool to see a player staying all his career in a club, but it's his life, his career, we can't really judge everything. Sometimes players feel that their club isn't doing the best to win, or they don't show them all the love and respect they think they should get. I love to see players stay in a same club all their career but nowadays I know even clubs don't respect that much their best players. If anything goes well for 4-5 years they say how much they love you, but as soon as you make a mistake or you have a bad game, anyone will tell you're shit.
Just beacause Messi leaved barca... So you mean that it was only nine on the list before and now messi is the 10th...
It'll be waiting to see for how long you'll keep squeezing out content from Messi now
Always and forever
Barça, Real Madrid, Milan, Juve, Bayern: * kicking players because they're getting "old", even if they are living legends for the club *
Man. United: * does the complete opposite * 😂

The transfer of Messi and Ramos seems like its EA sports and i'm the manager of PSG
This year was the hellest year for a Barca fan like me . Messi, Suarez can have us from this hell which is happening in camp Nou .this list can add also Figo also

@@paing4118 that only makes is departure worse, since he became the club's best player of all time
As a R madrid fan you have to learn your history and the codes of behavior at the club. If you don't know this then you are a plastic fan
@@edd0f plastic fan? Do you know how many times I've watched players been treated unfairly by Real? A lot of players should have not left the way they did, Gareth Bale was treated like trash although he provided more success than Zidane( when he was a player ), Ramos leaving just because he wanted more time on his contract ( more time to be in the club he loves ) it wasn't even about money, and now Odegaard is been sold, a Kid that came in when he was 16 with the promise that someday he would be a main player in Real if he became good enough, they kept moving him around and now that he is ready, now that he is a great player, they want to sell him and to motivate him to leave they didn't register him in la Liga. Dude wtf. I love Real, since i was a boy seeing the galáticos so don't tell me i don't know how the club works, i know, i don't agree but i know. And that's all I'm doing I'm expressing my opinion that i don't agree.
@@kingab9959 Like I've said. You are a plastic fan and too dumb to understand why someone like Modric (35 years old) still is at the club and why others like Ramos aren't.
Messi will not be the same with PSG.
4 out of 7 are spanish teams, 2 out of 3 of the honorable mentions were spanish as well. At Bayern, both cases were injury and health complications and proper farewells were given on both sides, and at the other 2 italian ones, it was due to technicality beyond the teams’s controls. Shows you that it is not to be trusted to offer life long loyalty to the Spaniards
Tbh i always imagined Ramos and Messi playing together and when it actually happened it's very you know difficult to accept.
