That Arknights Base Combo Guide is an excellent read. It made me wonder if there's a tool that takes in your operator roster and spits out the best rotation strategy. Something like that would be pretty handy I would think
Peter still with the staggered rotation agenda even after 4 years, kudos to spreading the word. Also when are we getting a second office slot for mulberry and a new dorm?
Sometimes when I see base guides I wonder to myself if my base is optimal. And then I remember I have 4k yellow battle records. Very good guide! I think base guides need to be made every few updates since sometimes we get operators like Proviso that could help immensely with the base output.
Because i'm a completionnists, i actually mainly use base to trust farm all my operators :D But i keep this video for when i'll switch on optimizing base production. Thanks :)
I gotta say it the stagger rotation stuff isn't actually easier or faster, it's actually considerably more time consuming because as noted in the combo section you often have to swap operators back and forth between facilitates, you're also never going to remember these timings during the day so in reality you're gonna have to log in several times wasting time. Furthermore if you bugger up the rotations you can end up with all different buildings being at different points in their rotations requiring resetting everything or more logins to swap just some of the buildings. It's more efficient yes, but 100% requires keeping track of allot more in your head and it can quickly just become too much of a nuisance for a part of the game that literally already often feels like work.
Honetly. Since the first time I watch PeterYR video. Im getting rich on AK. LMD is not an issue anymore. Would love to if you have a small video about byrophyta and their ops combo and rotation. So people can understand how good he is.
imma stick with swapping out operators every resets, and rotate the dorm every 12 hours before resets. works like a charm. this kind of method fries my brain, and i need it for smth more important than base management
I don't like the 12 hr rotations because I find it confusing which operators I need to swap when and I'm also not great at sticking to a really tight schedule. I found a different rotation that works better for me that seems to be very close to the same level of effectiveness. I do a 12/4/8 hour rotation. The 1st obvious con is having to login 3 times a day rather than 2. It may also have some degradation of output though from what I can tell it's not very much. (maybe 1K xp daily at most?) The benefit of this is that at night when I go to sleep all of the operators in my base are ALWAYS in the same spots. Another benefit of this is that I can dedicate 8 dorm slots to operators that speed up morale recovery in the dorms. Plus overnight my dorms don't even fill up. The last benefit is that I can sleep in on the weekends and I just shift everything back an hour or 2 in my rotations and they're back to normal on Monday. Disclaimers: I'm a 4 year veteran and have 280 operators and over 94% of the 6* operators. Most notably Mlynar and Chong Yue to assist with my rotations. I'm using the exact same rotation for TPs as the 12 hr rotation does (Fiammetta assisted version). I'm using the "Exodia" combo that links 10 operators together who can not be staggered. I am doing 2 sort of staggered rotations, though again, overnight is always the same. I have 2 3 slot factories that rotate in 48 hour intervals so I do 1 on odd days and the other on even days. Then I also have Scene who rotates on a 60 hour interval (with assistance from Fiammetta). These always rotate into the 8 hour shift because that's how much time they need to fully recover their morale so they're always going back into service before I go to sleep. Exodia always rotates into the 4 hour shift because they're only on for 20 hours with Chong Yue so they don't need that much time to recover. As for output I'm producing 30,333 XP, 120 Gold bars, and 70K+ LMD daily (not sure the exact amount of LMD but again, this is identical to the 12 hr rotation anyway so it's not a point of differentiation) I'm droning purely LMD 100% of the time, rarely I'll have to switch an XP factory to gold bars for like a week and then I'm good for multiple months again.
@@UreksatheJade It's not really more time for me because I will log in at least 3 times a day anyway. Also, the idea that swapping operators is such a terrible time consuming task is kind of a joke. It takes less than 5 minutes probably closer to 1 minute to do. Doing it the other way caused me to have more mistakes which cost me a lot of materials and it was just a giant pain to keep track of. Plus when you have mistakes it would compound the problem because your whole rotation got thrown off and then I would have to stop and try to figure out how to get back to normal which took way more time than logging in for 1 minute.
I don't even do more than 1 rot per day. I just accept the fact that the CC and power plants don't get rotated. I can still rotate all factories, trading posts, office, and 1 extra op. Weedy and Eunectes still benefit from tired robots.
Hoping for an updated version of this soon. I recently updated by base setup with Aroma and I've seen CN rotations involving Abyssal Hunters. Just wondering if it's the best rotation rn even tho Gladiia only works like 7-ish hours.
It' s so annoying that dusk and ling give both worldly plight and the rosmontis passive, but you can only use whisperain OR mulberry so either rosmontis + ebenholtz or mr.nothing get shafted If you are deranged you can maybe align the correct half of dusk and ling' s passives + fia to use both consecutively but that sounds sooo much micromanagement
Just simplify your rotations to 36hr and use Sui + Ros + Whisperain + Mr Nothing for 24hr, then let them rest for the remaining 12hr. Fia only needs to refresh Proviso, Shamare and Tequila during the 36hr (3x12hr).
@@Kokinkun it' s the better choice since mr nothing has big numbers even without mulberry, while rosmontis and especially ebenholtz are kinda mid without whisperain
why even if I use shamare e2 tequila e2 and kafka e0 I don't get more than 90% effectiveness? To get the other % from trading and factory do I need Kafka E2?
Tequila and Bibeak/Kafka's skills don't affect the order speed directly, so only the 90% from Shamare is shown. As long as you see 4-bar orders trading for 2500 LMD instead of 2000, Tequila's skill is working.
It doesn't matter. Collect them whenever you can to extend the time until they cap. On special case like Jaye e0 team you even raise production by collecting asap.
Im sorry but i feel that i need to see your daily rotation to understand all of this. Edit: on side note i would like to know how can i fit originium production in this strategy and drones usage.
There are sample rotations in the MAIN page of the base skill guide. You simply use an Orun team instead of a gold or xp team. Since all Orun ops are solo 30/35s, you can stagger each of them after 12h. Drones you spam in whatever you need more, usually TP for lmd.
Teacher! I understand how the combo skill rotation works and I would like to try it out later. But how about TP lvl 3 and TP lvl 2? Since I'm downgrade it for Proviso and Mr. Nothing combo? How do I work my way to associate with TP lvl 3 to rotate?
You just rotate them separately. Make sure Sham - Teq - Prov is in a proper morale cycle for fiam. You can also look at the sample rotations in the base skill guide MAIN page. On the case where you don't have Fiam, just rotate the entire Sham team out and stagger proviso.
Beside this wonderful information, how do you get 2 or more trading post?? I’ve been playing this game since launch and I don’t even know how to set that up 😭
Q1) is staggering still better if you cannot reliably stick to schedule? e.g. if time between logging in ranges from 18-30 hrs Q2) (unrelated but) is it worth E2-ing Shamare purely for base assuming i have E0 Tequila and no other combos i.e. only 90% TPs ?
1) In your case, 243 would be a better option for you as lv2 factories cap in ~12h. Some with high prod caps in 8-10h. But there are 24h stagger rotations available too. 2) Yes. Sham is the only e2 needed to start the team. Teq and bib(free)/kafka can be e0, your team will just has a bit less prod. Sham is also great for gameplay anyway.
Always struck me as kinda odd that these rotations never account for dorm skills. Seems like they should help, but I guess throwing off the nice clean 12 hour schedule isn't considered worth it
They're ignored as they're not necessary for proper rotations but you're right they very useful for leniency between rotations esp when you are a few hours late. We say 12h because that's the time where you should burn your sanity and most people don't like to log in often
If you've already built/maxed out most relevant units, why not? I E2'd Bryophyta day 1 since he combos with Gravel + Haze to a 110% factory instead of the usual 95%. At some point you'll run out of new meta units to build and you can build units for fun or for better base output.
Imo depend, if its like only 3% base improvement or around that amount if u build those non meta, i would say not worth it since the mats can be used for future ops. I still use exalter on vermeil scene combo coz pallas is only 3% improvement while having much lower value in battle
