ColorPass is such an incredible savings. It comes out to be about $5 a bottle or less, if you get it with a coupon code. That doesn't even include all the extras you get! I think even if I only like 2 or 3 items from each box then it's still worth getting. I also really love surprises, so I don't mind not knowing what they look like beforehand This box was not my favorite. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. The colors were alright, but I wasn't thrilled with the finishes. I really love trying new top coats, so I was happy for that extra. Orly Bonder is my favorite base coat, so I don't try too many other ones. I don't use stickers often because more often than not, I end up ruining my manicure trying to use them. Love this finish! Picked up the pinky-watermelony one, Lost Treasure, and Close Call. I find Glisten & Glow's top coat helps smooth out polish bubbles, for me anyway.
It is pearl season people. Most brands do them. I know most people hate them but i do like them in punchy colours. I don't like them in peachy goldie tones at all though. So this collection i actually like. I might get a few of them.
I've taken to using linear holo topcoats to cover up these hideous frost finishes. It sometimes takes two coats but it definitely can redeem them, I'm guessing because they're similar in the sense of having matching formulas with stuff going in lines up and down the nail.
I had always stayed away from this type of finish but when I got the box…I thought, I hate the box, and kept on looking at "close call". So I decided to just go for it and wear it. It was beautiful! I kept looking at my nails every time the I was outside. The color is so unique in my collection 😮that I loved it! I got so many compliments with that polish 😂😂 even my husband complimented my nails. I didn’t have any bubbles. I did later used the blue shimmer and that did bubble on some of my nails. I also get that with the breathable line but when I add top coat the bubbles melt into the polish. Strange!
I really liked some of these polishes-I like pearlescent, streaky polishes for some reason 😂 the theme of it would’ve been perfect for a topper as well but I guess Orly doesn’t tend to include toppers in their colorpass?
i loved Close Call, and i am really wanting to try it with Written in the Stars from the spring collection on top of it to give it a more shimmery look!!

I'm currently wearing lost treasure💙 with white butterfly stamping. That shade is close to Maniology morning mist. Your favorite shade is close to salon perfect, mer-made of money (creme) and Maniology sequins, and turquoise.

That way I get the least amount of bubbles possible. They don't bubble up on me as soon as I'm applying it like how the frosty ones were bubbling up on you. Also, I should mention that the G&G top coat is the only one I can use with Orly polishes, bcs any other top coat (mainstream) makes the bubbling worse. Night Owl Lacquer's "Patience Not Required" is my favorite Indie, and her "Moon Glow" is awesome in the Summertime because the Sun makes it Glow, and she has the best priced refill bottle's... whenever she has a BOGO I snag a couple! ;-)
I don't know if I got the stickers out of the box or if they even sent me one because I had no idea of them. I personally love Power Shield though! I'm probably going to cancel the color pass because a lot of people are saying it's going down hill and I just don't want to waste money. I liked this box okay, love the cremes and 1-2 of the shimmers, but I wasn't impressed other than the PS.
This box was a miss for me too. I think the color story is kind of whack lol. Like why two different metallic reds?? And three shades of blue?? Then the yellow seems so random. I love nail stickers but the tiny sheet felt a little insulting. Maybe I'm spoiled by the Deco Miami stickers :)

And looking ahead, Orly tends to usually have most of winter in a finish like this. I am SICK of this finish. PLUS (let the whine continue), the two oranges are TOO close, the blue is similar to It’s Brittany, Beach, and the shimmery blue is awful damn close to Ascension last winter. I get the economica od Color Pass and for the price, I take it in steide to have a couple duds, but…I’m dudded out. And especially when I loved the Breathable collection way more AND Orly has already put the Spring Color Pass on sale for half off so at this point…even the economics of this don’t persuade me to renew. Those stickers are not worth 7.50 hahahahahaha. I’m really glad you have called out this collection. Orly is phoning it in….the name of the collection, the colors, the finishes…..hello? Is anyone awake there? And on the top coat…what is the meaningful difference between this one and the one in the black bottle? I get suspicious when companies sell a lot of products that essentially do the same thing because I just feel it’s a marketing scam at the end of it.

I don’t get why anyone would do this subscription. With Orly having such huge bottles, even 1 color you don’t like is very annoying to store. I don’t collect polish , just buy colors I like. The streaky finish I only like on sheer polishes , these full opacity metallics are a no go for me.

Didn't get this box. I don't like streaky pearl finishes but the Blue is nice and Orly formula and brush are great. Thanks for swatching.

I think my closest color polishes to Close Call are Cirque Paradiso and Gum Drop

This collection did not have me renew my subscription, maybe in the fall. I guessed $4 and that was stretching it.

They look well with a glossy topcoat and they look amazing with a matte topcoat
