After already having toured Asia and Canada, she’s ready to conquer the world. Few dj’s belong to the group that can work on that level - from the biggest stages to the sweatiest basement raves.Still her heart remains tied to the both the underground Techno scene and Belgium.

ain’t no way someone is producing music in that room 😂 the reverb from her voice alone is insane
im guessing someone else probably mixes and masters it for her i would hope!
@@hkd991 and also ghost producers, she is just the face of the bussiness
Perfect room for producing techno kick drums ... free rumble 🤣🤣🤣
I INVITE YOU TO SEE THIS LIVE SET , IT WILL BE ONE EVERY WEEK
ua-cam.com/video/EIf3Y4hN6QY/v-deo.html
Yes! I was thinking the same : P
So much reverb!
Natural Reverb :D
😂🤣😂 exactly what i was thinking , and i also think she can't explain how she makes her kicks and hats and rides in the mix like using sidechain compression or sidechain reverb and automations .
I think it's a bit of a shame that she just opens a full project and plays some channels, without even a bit of technical explanation.
And for someone with such a big name position and salary it's even a bigger shame that she don't even record her audio directly from her interface in to her video😅 😥
Now I have some thoughts about her qualities .
I hope i'm roung 🙏
But outside of this video she does pretty well 👍👍
1. Don't pretend to be a producer 2. Don't tell people you have produced a track that wasn't produced by yourself. 3 . Don't show your lack of talent to an public audience.
A guy called Dave Robinson makes her music it’s written on all the credits of her records.
The thing is none of this matters the majority of people don’t care about this because they don’t understand what goes on when you are getting your music written by a ghost producer.
I mean she got producer of the year for goodness sake!!!
It’s like me getting driver of the year but it was actually Lewis Hamilton driving the car for me.
Anyway to verify this? I know it’s tricky to verify a ghost artist but her production is sus
@@ethicsmw If you buy her records on vinyl the credits are written on the vinyl.
Always Dave Robinson.
Plus if the record goes commercial you can check royalties once again Dave Robinson every time
@@jonslater9918 couldn’t find anything from a google search but I guess they wanna keep it under xover
@@ethicsmw all of her solo stuff is with Dave Robinson, and all of her collaborations

That comment made my day and is a great improvement to this "double" feature video.
Haha! Love it.
I remember opening my first Logic project I didn't produce.
Hahahaha
hahahahah
It’s funny that people who have no idea about production/dj think she is a legit producer.😂
Listeners are not at all interested in the process by which she arrives at the song, they are interested in the final product that they enjoy. Her fans won't even watch this video, it will be watched by fellow producers, for whom this video is targeted in order to advertise beatport products. The only ones who bother with her process are fellow producers who are envious of her because of her commercial success, fame and status, while at the same time claiming that they don't care about those things, which is hypocritical. If you don't appreciate her work and you're not interested in profit and fame, no one is stopping you from making music for yourself to enjoy :)
You dont seem to understand what the term producer means. A producer is not an artist, you can call him that if you want because art is subjective, you can also call a mathematician an artist if you want. The producer is a product manager. His job is to deliver a product. The producer doesn't even have to see the project in a DAW, he can delegate the work to a songwriter, arranger, sound designer, etc. and control the entire process so that the product he wants is reached.
It would be like someone saying that a product manager in a software company is "cheating" and not a "real" producer, because he hired UX designers, graphic designers and engineers to work on the product. The producer is first and foremost a marketer, his job is to deliver a product that will satisfy the needs of the target group. You people don't understand that. You think that being a producer means physically clicking something on the computer, doing some kind of physical work, personally designing every sound or something, that she must be some kind of creator/artist or something.
not a single track was made in that room lol
She have no idea. Thnx ghostproducer
she could be alan walkers girlfriend 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who need this in 2020?
Iam in love *-*
It surprises me that many talented women produce their music and no one sees them, the best drum and bass DJs I have ever heard are women... and models with marketing teams are the ones that are positioned in the first places... I respect the women who do make their own music, I hope they achieve success
I love Koven
Damn i love her music but idk if she's actually producing it after watching this lol. She literally explained nothing, no detail about anything no plugins she uses... Kinda fishy
She doesn’t Dave Robinson a.k.a. Reset robot
Makes her music it’s written on the credits on all of her records.
Fancy getting producer of the year and you don’t actually make the music 😂
@@jonslater9918 thats her alias
@@musica5903 It’s her ghost producer She gave him a shout out when she won the award
@@jonslater9918 ah i was thinking of someone else, raving george
@@jonslater9918 if you're gonna try and give her ghost producer some credit at least get his name right - it's Dave Robertson, not Robinson.
Jesus christ just record the screen..
I'm going to change my life and get it togetHer.
"obviously you can see that i suck"
Wtf is this a joke? Was that a project of her ghost producer? Video repeats itself after minute 5 to double the length. Not a single instrument shown in detail...
100% right
not even a mixer :)
And the shittiest "Studio Speakers" ever. "KRK ROKIT"
LOL
There is nothing wrong in using ghost producers, especially if you start your DJ career into clubs and not in your studio. Top DJs play their music EACH day around the world and it's obvious that they have not time to create music. During the 90s DJ and producers were two radically separated categories..the formula "be a great producer and you will be a popular DJ" is a relatively new fiction. A fiction to persuade people to create music basically for free.
@@leninonacid2358 i don't see you in a studio with a 10k mixing console and Neumann studio monitors, come back when you have actually produced on KRK monitors and take into mind that daws let you change volumes for a reason.
@@tmengucor Agree, the only thing right now is that its harder to seperate yourself as a 'dj', people want you to be a producter and DJ otherwise your just a 'dj'. So at least you need some 'own' tracks that are really unique compared to all the music that is allready out there.
Je t'aime Charlotte!!!!!!!
Ghost here. AMA
voices of the ancient ..like hearing hardfloor track fresh and acid laced
Voices of the Ancients is one of my fav tracks ever! i play it in my sets very often xx
This women is really inspiring me, I like the way she is
are you the real ???
He is as real it can get !
carl cox respects her and that’s enough for me, I know he’d support real talent, I never see these types of comments under any male producers or djs.
🖤
BS
Complete BS, this is absolutely not an argument. And no, we see it often under male producers...David Guetta, Tiesto, Diplo, Aoki, Alan Walker etc...
I love charlotte but i was expecting to learn a lot more
lol reset robot should watch and learn
what a rumble!
Where is Dave Robinson?
Nice like the Minimal gear
keep!!!
The room echoes, do you think he'll make music here? : D XD
I love this charlotte de witte, I too do not like claps in tracks and I've never met anyone like me that didn't like claps.
Little did I know she would be on the cover of DJ Mag the next week. I think she's a bit above my pay grade, your words are kind. Do you music?
:) . !!!!!!
I think you are made for each other man! You should ask her to get married and don't play any track with claps at your wedding
Prollepse after the best man's speech no one will clap
When I produce you definately clap in house tracks do the swing you apply to the hats make it groove but for techno, the odd clap on an off beat or drum fill but not through the whole track
I love youuuuuu
Me mojé
Sorry lady, but your studio is blocking the door.
I love the zooming into the face and not the monitor at all ?!? Love her music regardless of ghost producers etc but lol
Charlotte de Witte 👑🎧, thanks for Your existence!
💕
This video made me so disapointed, fucking hell I thought she made her music...So when I hear a ''CDW masterpiece"I hear somebody elses music....Btw who makes her musci?Holy fuck.....:(((
It's Dave Robertson aka Reset Robot, if you look in the description of her tracks he is mentioned in as a composer
High five!
Love love for you 😘😘
Ich liebe dein Lächeln 😊
100% fake, she is a good representative but is not producing by her own this is safe after that video
And you are making these accusations based on what?

hahaha what a joke :D Just call yourself a Dj, not a producer :D
I love you bby ❤️😍
Fake Video. In einem Raum, mit solch schlechter Akustik, 2 Abhöre zu installieren, ist lachhaft. Das Ganze sieht einfach künstlich aus. Und warum wird das Video "gedoppelt"?
She is just a dream
Lol. She knows how to push play.Hahahhaha
I want to do the drinking game: 'euhm'. :D.
Komt wel goed! Je doet dat super! Verlang naar dour of misschien nog eerder!
And people should buy this?...
is it bad that i dont see any accoustic treatment?
That’s the only way you get those clean and punchy kickdrums!
She doesn't seem to really know anything about mixing or mastering. I never bought into the idea she uses a ghost producer, but she definitely does nothing with respect to any sort of audio engineering for her productions.
Very basic but effective fair play from Scotland
Please angel 😇
why she dont show how she produced it lol clean ready from mastering studio songs mähhhhh
That doesn't prove she produced it. Because I guess thats the purpose of the video
don't think that really matters today. besides, most of these djs are part time models judging from their instagram and other social media. people don't care about the music they play.
wheey another sexist person assuming that her music is ghost produced just because she isnt a male artist, you disgust me.
@@Bkoded because she obviously doesn't. Starting from the awuful room acoustics, to the lack of ANY technical stuff. Look for instance at the ROB HES beatport session, and then tell the difference. It's ok, she is ghost produced, we got it, but why forcing her to talk about studf she doesn't know about, it's cringy
Oddly and ironically her sound reminds me a lot of the “trade” sound of the 90s pioneered by the late tony de vit
The editing is so awkward man
Perfect show haha.. - Tell everyone how much you (or your age ncy to ghost producer) pa y for one track . Epic fail. Another Fake producer dear god.
Fake scene. So fkkng sad
This is so dissapointing. I just listened to her earlier tracks and she seems like she had no problem with claps there lol
I believed she is a talent and even was jealous a little.
this is hilarious hahahaha
You definitely need some room treatment over there
I dont know why but all you do attracts me only because you did it. I think you have something special to tell to us.❤Charlotte ❤
Cute face. Clearly not a producer.
anyone know what midi controller that is?
It s not a midi controller it is an Analog Keys
WHICH ANALOG KEYS ARE?
Elektron Analog Keys bruh
Salut j'adore .vous pouvez m'aider
Came here after watching JakoJako 😂 seems nothing happening here.
This is totally embarrassing and an insult to producers, Charlotte youre a very nice girl , but cleary you have an engineer 🤦♂️
This makes no sense to those of us who know what we are talking about
Almost every major artist has a co producer
@@alygo1089 Yeah but every major artist SINGS
@@alygo1089 luke slater, speedy j, surgeon, regis and many many more do not agree.
@@kodrinsky hence the almost. Many DJs don't use co producers yes, but in what way does it inherently make them better? Techno producers have had co producers and mix engineers since the genre was born, its a pretty standard way of producing music. Speedy J doesnt use co producers as far as i know, but he has been a "hidden" co producer more than once. It's nothing out of the ordinary and nothing that would make someone a bad producer.
@@Daferpare well, I mean: all of this bullshit has no sense to me. A DJ's task is to select good records, mix 'em and make the crowd go nuts. There's no need to pretend you make the music aswell. A good producer's work is to make tracks for the DJ. It is as simple as that. If you can do both, great. If you don't: stick to your craft, unless you wanna make an ass of yourself, which is this case.
The way she operates the mouse and navigates the mouse pointer on the screen shows she's not familiar with what is going on there.
Yes
Bassline
Quien es el productor fantasma de Ella?
Enrico Sangiuliano
Am I high or was this horribly edited?
Woah your so pretty!
LOL, ...around my "STUDIO" a bit"....You don´t put a reverb on your kick, just record your "Studio"room.
#needmics
It's totally conceivable that she works in collaboration with a ghost producer/s. Personally I don't mind. How much time does she have to devote to producing with her rigorous tour schedule? She kills it as a DJ, that's more important to me
LOL
She kills it “as a dj” this guy said!!! 🤣
love the "experts" here 😂😂😂
You mean the people that dont need ghostproducers?
lol
hahahaha. I think the released tracks of "her" are far away from what I can hear in this "studio" in term of quality production ...Where is the GHOST PRODUCER. I guess Techno business is just about money and no more to create something on your own
another sexist comment? i don't think you understand that its fully possible to produce a great sounding song in a room with acoustics like that, whether its through the visual representation of the track or just listening closely.
@@Bkoded so, what is sexist about the comment? You sound like a classic internet idiot who dictate other people's opinions with irrelevant political bullshit. People are so fucking hypocrite that they can't even handle facts or opinions.
@@Bkoded Also, it's almost impossible to make professional sounding audio in that kind of poor environment. DJ's like Charlotte are touring like crazy and it's totally comprehensible that they don't even have time to spend in the studio for production, that's how it works now. But it doesn't mean that this whole scene didn't become a bullshit show and even shooting video like this that has absolutely no informational value is like mocking with the whole community like they are bunch of fucking idiots.
Why is this in black and white?
because techno
because this video was filmed on a potato judging by all that noise in the picture. The sound did speak for itself as well... So an easy effective way to make the noise look more artistic is to make it black and white :)...
Fake 🤦♂️
that room sounds just awful, i would not even want to LISTEN to music in it not to mention about producing anything.
😚😍😘🎶🎧
love "the experts" here lol
oh just be quiet will you
Bkode expert opinion noted 😂
ITT: angry man babies
less is more, iv heard producers say that to me .
Your beautiful 💍
Her beautiful what?
fake
Not very smooth when they cut the part where she was downloading her recently purchased ghost produced track. 😂
just wondering: is she using Logic Pro?
looks like yeah
she‘s not using a DAW at all, somebody else get‘s paid
For such a renowned name... Not knowing how to record a video with proper sound, I mean u're a dj this should be basic stuff I can't even hear anything... The acoustics of the room are terrible lol at least she could have recorded the output of her soundcard lol 😂
You do not like Clap. I am hearing TB 808 is crying somewhere.
I should try saving up my wages get a few ghost productions done I might become famous too
I feel like I'm looking at this but the whole time she is wearing a dress, but then you look down and she's got ripped jeans,. very confused.
Not a good video haha
