This is a great scene demonstrating how cold-blooded Batman is when it comes to criminals, and no one will ever replace Affleck in the role of Batman, at least in my eyes #Batfleck🦇
It's technically Canon too because he was like this throughout most of his debut years of the Golden Age
10/10 for the directors cut. Period. So much better than what we got in the theaters. Ultimate edition.

I love the Tumbler, and I love the car from "The Batman" .. but for some reason this is by _far_ my *favorite* BatMobile. The old-school switches with the high-tech displays, and the auto-cannon mounted front and center .. not trying to hide its ferocity. The way it was able to harpoon and drag that car like it was an empty can of soda. I love everything about how visceral and powerful it is.
And Batfleck is my favorite Batman as well!
I like this Batmobile, but that canopy opening (which looks tailor made to accomodate Superman opening it at the end of the scene) is dumb as f*ck, probably the worst for any Batmobile. how can you open it in thight spaces/"low roof over the Batmobile" situations and while driving without the top being flipped behind if not ripped away by aerodynamism (that suicide squad scene just skipped over this detail) ?

I would’ve titled this movie “The Death of Superman.” That way, Batman is positioned as the villain of this story, which is what the movie is clearly doing anyways. Listen to his music. It’s very threatening and intimidating. And yes, he’s arguably killing people. Not murdering them, but his actions are conceivably leading to the deaths of others. Which is the point, to introduce the question: what if Batman gave in to his rage and could become the bad guy? This was the only version of Batman to show that you can come back from that dark place. These movies will always have my utmost respect

A Batmobile demonstrating what a Batmobile has to be, a fear-inspiring monstrous beast, with lots of little tricks to help Batman with the criminals. Not like a certain old car and its chase worthy of Fast & Furious like a certain movie that I will not say. THIS IS BATMAN

After more than 6 years, people are still talking about BVS and generating debates, and who is still talking about the "batman"? very few people, 1 year has passed and most of them have forgotten about it, it is a movie like the marvel movies, it is released, it has the popularity of it for the moment and after that the vast majority forget about it.
Look at the number of views that the most recent clips of BvS and ZSJL have with those of The batman and you will see which one has the most views, you can see which one people like the most. Look at the difference in views only between this clip of the BvS chase vs The "batman" chase

While Bvs at the start of the universe, there was no covid, the cinematic batman before it was the most praised(nolan trilogy) got 105 million net profit and sufferd drop 68.4% while faceing no competation

I really appreciate how this movie shows the Batmobile as an unstoppable weapon smashing it's way through everything like a tank and taking direct hits and still going. But then shows how useless it is against Superman as it bounces off him like a ping-pong ball.

I laugh to myself in this scene bc at 3:22 when Batman sees Superman around the corner with his face like it is and the score it sounds like the vocalizing in the score is saying “Jesusssss.” As he’s looking at Superman lol. Idk if I explained that right but it’s all good.
Also, the path to the Batcave felt so good at the theater back in 2016.

No he came to Gotham just for Bat. That same day Clark was researching the supposed killings of the bat so to him, Batman was the bigger criminal. Lex had Arkham inmates killed and blamed on the bat
You’ve got it wrong. In this iteration superman doesn’t get involved with street level activity he only intervenes when it’s international/global. When innocent people are in danger. Between batman and these mercenaries superman knows it’s something the feds can handle.
He sees batman as the bigger threat. Petty criminals are too low level. At the very most he will intercept terrorists but not gangsters.
This is a Batman at his lowest. Who’s crossed the line. Who no longer cares whether the criminals he fights live or die. Who’s lost all hope and has it restored at the end of the film.

If u look closely, the Batmobile has 2 seats. One for him and one for Robin. I imagine once Joker killed Robin, Batman cracked and realized that non-lethal isnt enough. To become more fearful he takes the Jason Todd route.
