Did they got rid of the where the doors will open announcement?
I remember way back I would say
“[Station Name], next station, [Station Name], Exit to the [left/right]”

@@woahthateas100 I haven’t rode light rail for a couple of years but when I did for Fanime Con I was expecting to hear *”EXIT TO THE LEFT”* but I didn’t and felt heart broken

i thought i was the only one that remembered these, it reminds me of tamien, my old home stop and as a kid whenever we got close, i always used to say that. it still makes me sad i had to move to sac :( but also good to know somebody else remembers it!

@@7cuhh I also always repeated them when I was a kid even though I lived far from Downtown but we always transit to it, but because of changing times (then the pandemic) I never used VTA until a few months ago. Now I’m seeing all sorts of weird and quirky stuff when it comes to VTA transit
