If Coen is getting calls,I’d let Bowles go. U can’t be a defensive head coach and have the 30th ranked defense. I’d let Liam Coen run the team and grab a good DC. They’re a dime a dozen.
I hate talking crap about him, but its so true... Could you imagine if we had even a mid-grade top 15 defense to go with this offense? It definitely looks horrible af to have a defensive-minded HC be so low on the board... We went from something like the 4th or 5th best D in week 2 or 3... To 30!?! Thats insane...
How f'n stoked are we about Bucky Irving?? The dude is a BEAST on the field and always gives credit to the O-line rather than himself... Hes a class act and im stoked for the future of this kid... LFG Bucs!
Crazy crazy game and finish, Bryce Young and the Panthers really played their hardest and almost stole it at the end, really happy to see him playing better
You mean to tell me the panthers almost “stole” the game. The bucs and refs DID steal it from the panthers. Panthers outperformed the bucs and the bucs got away with one yesterday
Mann this lost hurt from a panthers fan but it was crazy,I was the only panthers fan sitting in the bar surrounded by Bucs supporting my team loud tho that whole game. A Bucs fan sitting next to me started yelling “fumble it fumble it” the play Chubba actually fumbled it🤦🏼♂️ he spoke it into existence 😂
@@anthonykobiec8569 yeaa bryce getting benched was the best thing to happened for him and seeing him play like a whole different player gives me hope and makes me happy knowing that the panthers aren’t gonna go into this draft worrying about a qb and we get to focus on other important positions. But that still doesn’t mean Bryce is the answer for the future I just think he bought himself another year and I do hope he’s the future and I always give a player 3 years to see if they are a bust or not
We gotta discuss why Bowles is so stubborn and constantly plays cushion coverage. Coen had an off day by being too exotic with the passing instead of keeping the plays basic. The defense has been the weakness of this team so the offense have to carry this team.
Huge win for the Bucs. Now the record is similar to the Falcons's (6-6). It will be a battle until the end of the season for the control of the division in a very undecided NFC South.
Panthers left 10 points on the board. This defense gave up 367 total yards. Baker was clutch this game when it mattered, but this was not a game we were supposed to win, Anthony Nelson is my mvp and everybody else is playing suspect. Especially #31 giving up that touchdown with 31 seconds left
People forget this is a divisional game plus the panthers have been playing good the past 5 weeks it was always gonna be a hard game this was a huge win but our defense is trash
Bowles is trash. Hes making some good young players look bad because of his dumbass schemes. Dude is awful at adjusting and relies way too much on the blitz.
Yep...that fumble/recovery saved our season. We absolutely need to win out...there's a small chance we can still win the div with one loss...but realistically need to win out.
@@metz33 that was one of those plays that exposes how cheap the NFL is. The fact there is not a replay angle, for a play at the back of the Endzone, was ludicrous!! It is like the goal line play in the Bucs v Falcons: where Winfield punched it out of Pitts, but they said they didn't have a pylon cam for that TV crew!!?? No camera angle straight down the PLANE of the End Zone🤪🤔 They make wayyy too much $$$, to not just have a League wide Stadium camera installation in key spots.
I’m not so sure. The only reason i say this is because when he falls to the ground and rolls out the ball looked like it was moving. Btw im staying it looked like it not that it was. As much money as this league makes they should have every angle imaginable covered. Like when the bucs stripped the player before the goaline earlier this year yet they didn’t have a pylon cam to see it?? Stupid shit
1:04 The Bucs are NOT tied with the Falcons for the division lead. The Falcons beat the Bucs twice, so they have the HtH tiebreaker. Even with both teams at 6-6, the Falcons lead the division. To pass the Falcons in the NFC South standings, the Bucs have to have a better record than the Falcons. While it is realistically a 2 horse race for the NFC South, neither the Saints (4-8) nor the Panthers (3-9) are mathematically out of it yet. Yes, the rest of the division would have to completely collapse for either the Saints or Panthers to win the division, but it's not mathematically impossible yet.
Yes, very true. That being said… Bucs have an easier schedule than the falcons so we’d need 3 falcon losses and only 2 bucs losses. I think that’s probable
@@kyledodson2992no the bucs absolutely need to be 10-7 at least the falcons will almost certainly finish better than 8-9 and at 9-8 they have the tie breaker if Tampa loses more than 1 game down the stretch to these bad teams with the playoffs on the line we don’t deserve to make the playoffs. They will not make the playoffs at 9-8 and they should be aware of that
@kyledodson2992 Yeah, but the easier schedule is offset by the HtH tiebreaker. The Bucs can win the division, but they need help, so can't really lose more than 1 game. Preferably, the Bucs win out.
After the season we will see about Bowles. We will have a full season to see Liam Coen to see if he really is a special OC who could become a special HC. Is Bowles a special HC and special DC? Do we lose Coen to keep Bowles? Do we let Bowles go to keep Coen? If we do the latter is there a DC we could get who is better than Bowles? Can the Bucs find a way to keep Coen as OC and Bowles as HC? That would mean paying Liam a Death Star full of cash. I factor in the lack of interceptions to the Bowles decision. We have 5 all year. That's anemic. He's not putting his guys into position to make plays on the ball. Has Tampa ever fired a coach after a winning season with a wild card berth and what were the results? In other news, Bucky Irving is the real deal. He wasn't in on the last drive as he was having his hip iced. Chaad was excellent on that drive. The 36 yarder sealed the game for us give McLaughlin a chip shot. Anthony Nelson just makes plays. He's a solid player who deserves more playing time. His forced fumble and Yaya Diaby's recovery won the game for us. Although, the Panzers had missed two field goals. Bryce Young is going to be great under Canales.
If I had to bet I would guess we lose two more games and finish with a 9-8 record tied with the falcons and they beat us with division wins. I hope that doesn’t happen but this game was too close and I just can’t see us winning 4 of the next 5.
evens is playing safe thigh hamstring is tender and he is getting it stronger evey week. we will see the bucs full of energy next week as the falcons lose on vikings.
Carolina should have kicked the OT game winning FG when they were in range the play before Hubbard fumbled. They got greedy and paid the price. Even on 2nd down within range...kick it and win.
I truly hope they get Liam Coen (how do you spell his name? The OC) to stick around. If that means firing Bowles and making him the head coach I'm fine with it. I like Bowles and he seems like a lovely guy. But a great offensive mind is more important than a once great defensive mind who seems to have lost his edge
@@Opieboi they have real short term memories they need to draft better on the defensive line and get some fast linebackers and pray we can stay healthy

I’ll take the victory but I won’t be optimistic until Liam Cohen can absolutely confirm what happened and what they need to do to fix the inconsistency. Shepherd needs to get his head out of his ass and grow up. Bowles defense is a lost cause imo. They can’t play man well enough to prevent so much zone. When they play zone they’re 2 miles off and then can’t tackle
