Oah and my best advice I or anyone else could give you is to stop buying this grade of mic if you want pro grade sound. They all sound about the same with a few slight differences. The amount of money your going to spend fishing for the right mic can be solved by buying this one. The Shure SM7b 399.99 or the Shure SM7DB 499.99 one needs a sound board and has only xlr imputs but the more expensive one has xlr and usb imputs so you can just plug and play now and buy a soundboard and get really fancy later. Either way this is one of if not the best most iconic mic on the market. Hell Michale Jackson recorded his albums on it lol. Its been around that long and has not been rivaled.

I think it has a lot to do with the distance that you are placing your mic. Ive noticed its pretty far away in some of your lives. Are you using the cardioid settings? Are you using the settings in the app, the obs settings any third party sound settings? I use a hyper x quadcast s with hyper x ngenuity, voicemod, and obs settings to get the sound I want. You can make a headset mic sound pretty good with a little software and its a must in general if you want your mic to sound its best. With a few settings from the programs I just mentioned I can have animals and kids running through here like a zoo and for the most part all you can hear is my sexy soothing voice lol. Im interested about what type of settings you use.
Its harder to pick up an instrument and vocals on the same mic mind you but the position your using in this looks good except if you are not using a cardioid filter the mic is going to pick up sound the way it was built aka the whole room vs stereo or whats directly in front of the mic.

This specific mic goes into my audio interface. Same with my guitar. Sometimes I play with just my Yeti blue picking up both guitar and vocal. Yes for sure, distance is what's up...I overdrive and clip my mic sometimes if I don't back up when singing louder for sure

so what are you saying ? ADG mic is no good or fair? Add on's is secondary to natural vocals.

I use a reverb add on for sure...give it a bit more space
