I got banned for I got banned for the same thing. I got banned before for saying a word I shouldn’t have and I was like OK and I only say normal cuss words and I told somebody to shut the F up and I got banned after he was calling me a bunch of slurs.

People dont like what you say there is a mute button, they refused to use it. They will sit there and listen to your conversation and report you and get you banned for a game. You paid $70 for because they don’t like what you said it cannot even be offensive, but they don’t like the conversation.

Even in a game where people have a mute button, they can play in a party with their friends where they know there’s a offensive chat and they choose to just go out of their way to report people and be idiots. Don’t play the game hit the mute button. There is eight other options that you have to do.

Bruh I got reported for “cheating by shooting someone through a truck” in plunder. I play on Xbox series X and I don’t even know if it’s possible to hack and cheat on console but even if it is I don’t have enough time to try or justify trying. That being said I recorded the game clip on my side and I shot his legs under the truck. The guys name is Ranger Bob. I ran into him today and he is claiming I received a 3 day ban for it. I never got any kind of notification though but I for sure didn’t cheat lmao. And to make it better he reported someone else today in the match I just played with. And the person responded with my exact response. “I’m playing on Xbox how am I cheating.” This Ranger Bob guy playing plunder is just trying to get people banned for him sucking ass at this game.

The whole thing is bs. It is a mature rated game. There are drugs, killing, babies dying in their mothers arms in the mw2 campaign. Unless that didn't make the cut I forgot. But if the operators that are built into the game are using profanity, cussing/swearing. They sell skins with weed on them maryjane-Sloth skin and 1 or 2 others. So we can have all that bullsht in the game but when I have a natural reaction to something and say oh fuck after I die I should not be penalized. I just redownloaded this game like a moth and a half ago and Everyone is muted on my end, but they can hear me. I dont know if im comms banned or its a bug. They can hear me but i cant here them (except for my friend). Also i cant send or receive friend invites. Someone said it was a bug but i dont think it is
So i believe yu are good , if you see your teamates as muted, that means they are proxy chat banned so u have to unmute them so u can hear them .. if no1 has to Unmute yu then yu are not proxy chat ban .
@TakeNoteZ I've tried to unmute them, and they are still muted. I was looking more into it and more, and when i was, i realized i dont have a crossplay tab anymore for the game. So im going to redownload the game again with all the packs from MW2 as well. Hopefully the works

What’s crazy is this is a tactic that players are using when they dislike you. Once chat banned, there is no way to appeal nor any way for Activision to review. You don’t have to curse to be chat banned. All someone has to do is report and you’re banned. It’s nothing more than a tactic. It’s extremely unfair. Literally folks are getting banned because they are playing the game. No infraction committed. Activision needs to address this problem. Professional players are using this tactic in an attempt to get an edge over other players. Its sad.

I can hear them in game chat and private chat but they can’t hear me and I have no text box. I don’t even get the red notification that I’m com banned in the party menu like normal and they don’t have to unmute me like normal com ban. I can see my mic working on screen and everything. Massive L. if you can't take people cursing at you especially in warzone as a random when its obvious you either don't know what you doing and not paying attention to the squad, or you just one of these people that thinks he/she is him but you standing around with a sniper on 1 kill on the third circle. These are the people that should be banned from the game and matchmaking not the people that actually have some understanding of what to do and come into the match as randoms trying to play as a squad.

I swear the game can barely keep up with how fast I look around and everything. I'm on xbox and I wish they would double the amount of stick sensitivity because I feel like it was way faster in some older games. You could go custom which I'm assuming is just the highest. I think 20 or("insane") lol. I've been playing at max sensitivity since at least the OG MW2 because I can't stand being shot and not being able to turn fast enough to get them. Now woth my sensitivity up I can start catching bullets and seeing the damage coming from behind me so I can flip around real fast and have a chance at getting the ones shooting me. That's why I get reported too. I know it. Cuz if they see my kill cam most people can't even process what theseeing unless I'm taking it slow and cookin.. lol higher sensitivity less bs please. Started here in Detroit because of trick trick and we had like 40 members of the [GOON] SQUAD. Used to go back and forth with FaZe-(if that was really FaZe people) idk, not trying to talk crap. I don't have that old profile but it's on my friends list. My old/first gamertag was Pyronesis. I couldn't remember my passwords a long time ago so I lost everything. Dam I'm rambling. Anyway, I'm still not nearly as good as I was. I have some good games but these new ones are so different. They play and feel weird and wrong. I didn't play after BO4 for a while. That's when that sbmm started happening for me and making the games unplayable. I tried the ones after that and same thing.
One more long one. My bad peeps. It wasn't until this new MW3 came out that I started trying to make time to play again. Still trying to make time. I'm rarely on. When MW3 came out it was unplayable for me because the sbmm and all that so I stopped playing, I uninstalled MW, MW2, MW3, Warzone, all of it. Then I kept seeing videos on here/UA-cam saying that the sbmm was gone. I still didn't believe it so I waited a while. Reinstalled it all like 2 months ago maybe and I haven't had many problems so I'll try to play more. I really wish we could get a big squad together for multiplayer. I havent gone in a mp match with a full party since BO4 and I miss that. Thats what we need. We would have one or 2 guys that would stay back as overarching with snipers or their preferred weapon. Myself and 1 or 2 others were the run n gunners, then we'd have 1 or 2 people on the objective if objective games. Even if not in objective games. Just miss the communication, having a real squad, having games that actually run smoothly. Like I said tho. I'm really enjoying mw3 now, mostly. Just wish I had more time to play.

Thats wild. Try goin in a game with your teammates and once the game starts , ask them to check if you show as muted for them during the game, if yu are then they chat temporarly banned u 🤷🏽♂️
