Very informative video Chris ! Many folks out there will benefit greatly. Those quartz veins you're standing next to look intriguing, however, the black oxidized zones behind have really got my attention. Have you sampled it ?
Ihave enjoyed this video very much, and I have a couple of questions : - What's the amount of gold gram/ton of ore could be considered feasable ? - Does crushing the stone crushes the gold pickers. If so why there are some bigger pieces of gold ? Thank you very much -
Friend - this is not a simple question. Feasible means making a profit, but profit depends on where you are located. If you are in the western USA, you have electric power and equipment repair services close by. If you are in a developing nation, all your services may be more than 100 Km away. Profit depends on production rate - If you mine 100 kilograms of ore per day or 1000, or 100,000 kg per day - makes a difference. You can get by with lower grades if you mine more ore - assuming your deposit is large enough, but large production can require investment of millions of dollars to buy the needed equipment to handle it.

Man, I don't know why prospecting is going so poorly for me. You talk about getting gold but not enough to mine. What I wouldn't give to find the tiniest 100 mesh piece in any hardrock. I've sampled an enormous amount of veins in areas next to active lode claims and on expired lode claims and have yet to find any color 😔
I cant say. I don't know what you are doing. If you are not crushing the ore, are you just looking for visible gold? Remember, good ore is an ounce of gold in a ton of rock, and its often well distributed through that ton.
@@ChrisRalph Oh no, I am crushing a full sandbag of sample each time, then running through my cube, then panning my concentrates. I even look at my cons under a microscope for any tiny/trapped gold. I do not think there is gold in the stone of the Kaaba.
@@ChrisRalph thanks Mr.chris ...I mean MICA ihave found some big stone with like gold powders in side so ican send the pictures or vedio to you
Mica doesn't carry gold.
Nice good
I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Sample sample sample !!!!!!! Then sample
Did I say Sample !!!!!
Exactly. I'll be up in your neighborhood in mid July. Lets talk.
Chris Ralph, Professional Prospector I will shoot you a email
Looking forward to it.
@@ChrisRalph my brother am digging gold from Tanzania I want to send to you my samples of stone
Seeking your advice why there is a very small outcome from my production and the samples are looking very good.
or bring the gold monster with you start sweeping did I tell you I have had my NEW gold monster for 2 weeks
Best of luck, I hope you find gobs of gold with it.
I wish I could find any trace of gold in some ore at this point. I've sampled so many stringers with heavy iron/copper in it. I did just buy your book though, so maybe I'll see what I'm doing wrong!
Half ounce per ton is more realistic and still worth mining in my opinion. For weekend warriors maybe not.
Yep, it all depends on scale. Some big outfits average less than a gram per ton.
@@ChrisRalph I do not bypass the ball mill and 50 mesh is our sweet spot but I do not have a method or machine of screening quickly, maybe you have heard of one? Great video Chris
Big companies use ball mills that have screening built in.
@@ChrisRalph I run jaw crusher impact mill 4 cement mixers at a time with steel balls off a generator, people laugh but hey it gets the job done, neighbors love the soothing sounds from 20 acres away. I've seen folks use a 12v vibrator with a bucket classifier. Will make or buy a real ball mill down the road get it hooked to solar power. Keep expenses down I figure.
👍👍
Thanks.
I think i found a lode vein of fishing sinkers...
And I found a deposit of fired bullet fragments!
@@ChrisRalph lol. Would those count as intrusives ?
I think the bullets come from above, not from below.
Lesson one of sampling, record where each sample from... So annoying finding something good but not being able to remember which location it came from.
An excellent point.
I don't know what you know , so om lost without yiu describing n explaining what you are talking about , such as quarts , vien , etc
Perhaps we have a problem with understanding the English language?
WHAT ABOUT ROASTING--IF THERE IS PYRITE--
Going to do a video on extracting gold from pyrite soon - and no roasting.
سلام واتساب دارید دوست عزیز کمی راهنمایی لازم دارم
Sorry - I get quite a few people every day who want me to ID their rock and mineral photos. I do not offer a mineral ID service, mostly because it’s not as easy as you think. Usually, minerals cannot be identified from just a picture. Please watch my videos on how to Identify minerals for yourself. Part 1 can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/MpkW58ZeQlc/v-deo.html and Part 2 can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/zOWo49X90gA/v-deo.html and Part 3 can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/_ab5NngRlVw/v-deo.html - Those videos should answer a lot of your questions.
@@ChrisRalph دوست عزیز چندتا عکس وفیلم از بعضی سنگ وخاکهایی که در نزد من هست میخواستم برایتان ارسال کنم
What are the chances of a broke Man and homeless coming out west and find enough gold to get by and make a living
Better chances to buy a lottery ticket and win 10 million dollars. You need a car to get around the goldfields, and its a skill - like plumbing or being an electrician. If you dont know what you are doing and have no money, you wont find anything.
@@ChrisRalph thanks for the info that makes me feel better lol please don't kill my dream 😭😂 I have a car just right now I am in a pinch hopefully it won't last much longer lol and you have a great day 😁
Its a skill you can learn and be proud of your work and then go out and find yourself some gold. Just dont weigh out all the gold you expect to find before you've actually found any!
Awesome👍
Thanks for the kind words. 🤗
