Great video! I got a standing room ticket for this years grand final with my 2 brothers! Can’t wait! Have you got any advice? Never done standing room before.
How did you go in the standing room?
@@TimHarrisVideo It was awesome!! No issues as security were pretty strict on who stood where etc. Got in early and right at the front! Then ran down to the fence as the final siren sound. Great day!

Such BULLSHIT that Melbourne STILL has control of our Australian AFL footy. Allowing them to host the Grand final every year. It's NOT their game. $2000 for Perth patrons to ✈️ to the Grand final. What a markup load of shit. Why should other states miss out & why should our men have to travel to play matches throughout the year much more than players & teams based in Melbourne, Totally Unacceptable. Every STATE SHOULD have the opportunity to HOST the GRAND FINAL each year & then it's shared yearly. The contract is OUTDATED in Melbourne. Who the hell gives them the overall say to monopolies this CAVEMAN MENTALITY? 👎 it's NOT VFL boys!!! It's 2022 & we are still living with this messed-up mentality. Time for a change.
MCG has the largest seating capacity in the southern hemisphere & Vic still has the most amount of clubs in the AFL.
The English Premier League has its Grand Final at the same stadium every year
it's tradition to have it at the MCG + it has 100,000 seating capacity

And also, Fun fact: The MCG is the 4th Biggest stadium in the world.
So I don’t see why they don’t host it at the mcg and at any other place
