Inserting a Zip the easy way on a HumBag (Handy Hint 21)

Inserting the Zip into the HumBag can be a little daunting.
Try this easier method, by creating two sections and
making a seam in the bottom of the bag.

Nothing worse than strands from raw edges getting caught in the zipper!

You could cut it just a bit larger and make a French seam on the cut edges for no raveling. Great demo.

That is a good idea. Have you tried this? Would love to see the finish, French seams are so neat. Glad you enjoyed it.
