  • 2009 interview with former New South Wales Assistant Police Commissioner Geoff Schuberg. In this segment he discusses how through phone taps on George Freeman, Lennie McPherson and Stan Smith the National Crime Authority learnt about how Sydney's illegal gambling operations were managed and arranged. He also describes the infamous meeting of Sydney's illegal gambling operators arranged to try and unite their approach to ensure they could maintain their businesses if casinos were legalised.

I done prison with Lenny. He was old and frail and couldn't remember things but seemed like a harmless old man. You wouldn't think he was a crime boss.

B.S! You don't know what you are talking about. Would you call the guy in front of him? You would be on the ground in seconds. George and the old timers were the best. Taking care of a child killer, George has my respect. Mr rent and kill a nut George took good care of him. Well done to George. Len was no snitch.
