- Officers were called to an apartment building near Lawrence and Morningside Wednesday morning around 11:30 AM for a medical complaint. Mohamed died at the scene. Police say he didn't live in the building. Suspect information hasn't been released.

The one where the white people were doing all the robbing r@ping and killing? It still exists. Immigrants were asked to assimilate to Canadian culture, so we went above and beyond, and assimilated to absolutely everything. Don't be upset because your kinfolk aren't highlighted as much anymore, we still remember Robert Pickton and Paul Bernardo, Karla Homolka, The guy who killed the child at the bath house down by Yonge St. Your fellow brothers and sisters in arms, are well documented and have their place in history. It’s not that dude, otherwise the problem would’ve existed since the late 80’s when my parents immigrated to Canada. The problem is Liberal spending and then relying on immigrants to bring in money from foreign countries; whether it’s international students paying 3x the tuition that citizens like myself pay. The flood gate opened for alll immigrants because of them and now immigrants are not vetted like Canada use to. Only families came to Canada and now rapists, murderers, thieves are pouring in and taking advantage of the situation. There is a financial crisis(housing, jobs,consumerism) in Canada that further instigates people to commit crime.

@@pacman3556 Great point, but it's very hit and miss. I grew up in one of these so called priority neighborhoods, and one of the highest ranking police officers in the division made it his duty to protect the gang and inform them of witnesses. Another unfortunate situation I witnessed was a girl getting beat up by her boyfriend. I was about 300m away and noticed that the cops were in their patrol car witnessing this, and only reacted when I got close. When I decided to walk away, one of the officers made it difficult for me to proceed home. I told them, that I saw them witness what happened and only moved forward when they saw a bystander walking. The officer ended up telling me, thanks for the statement, and just so you know, he'll get bail within 24 hours. There's a huge distrust because both the officers and community generalize each other - the only difference is, if the community has to defend themselves from the criminals or testify against them, more than often, we're punished and left unprotected.

"There's crime stoppers where you can obtain up to $10k, or the new BOLO program that can get you up to $1,000,000.00 - just know that you have to testify in court, etc. etc. etc." essentially expose yourself for a small financial reward, but the priceless value of making a difference in your community. Two days later, the same person arrested gets bail - smh!

Here is what I see from police .
They have a crusier sitting at every roadside construction site with a cop on their cell phone . Two parked cruisers in some obscure parking lot sitting and chatting .
The only business that is truly safe is Tim Hortons . No shortage of police there .
Now in fairness , here is why having said that . I dont blame Police , cant even look at a minority without being accused of harrassment .
We have too .many people who claim they are Canadian but spend their time protesting events in the Middle East as if Toronto, Ontario , or Canada have any influence over events there .
Former Chief Saunders knows where the crime is . He knows who is doing it . Yet if he was to even remotely hint at the truth . He would be publically attacked by the crazy " woke" who would rather see people killed then dare go after criminals
