I was at K's lakes bank holiday Sunday, had 13 lumps out between 5pm -8pm on a quick evening session. Unbelievable sesion

It’s a nice place to fish though the specimen lake can be hard going from time to time. I’ve only ever fished it in the summer months while on holiday there. Myself and my Dad like to fish on the surface the ducks can be a bit of a challenge. We take lots of dog biscuits and make sure we feed the ducks well. The margins usually produce well on bottom baits specially in an evening, pellet waggler with 6 to 8mm hard pellets can be rewarding in the right conditions. Spoding over bottom baits will work well when the fish are feeding hard otherwise just keep it simple like most fishing scenarios. To my knowledge 20+ fish are there to be caught realistically between 10 and 16lb make up most of the carp caught. I’ve heard from other anglers of fish pushing 30lb but I’ve not witnessed any myself, in the last 28 years of going the largest fish I’ve had was just over 21lb.
