Chris passed away in his sleep 6/17/2023. All of Us, his Friends who grew up and played ball with him, or were coached by him, pray he finds the Peace he so deserves.
How do you know he's telling the truth? He's leaving a lot of his own bad behavior out. Where does he get the money for all those drugs? How many crimes does he commit on a daily basis?
Chris said it correctly: it started with alcohol. It's not that everyone who drinks is going to end up on the streets, but you can bet your last dollar that 99+% of those on the streets started with alcohol. I knew Chris as a young man - he was kind, gracious and despite his immense talent, humble. I hope that he has found some peace.
You and I are alike in many ways. I’m also from Miami. Your insight on why you stay on the streets chasing your addiction seems spot on and applies to me as well. Thank you.

Damn Chris, l didn’t know u left us.. loved him, as a friend, roommate , and brother in law, l tried to help with his troubles, at the beginning. Once he tried crack though, it was his downfall….. he truly gave up everything for it,,and lm sorry he passed. God Bless you Chris 🤙🏻⚽️🥇❤
The ambivalence that you described between the physical man and the spiritual man is the hallmark of addiction. This wanting to use and not wanting to use simultaneously, is a very uncomfortable place to be. I know it well. My prayers are with you, my brother.
I'm surprised he's not addicted to fentanyl because they're supposed to be racing to crack cocaine with fentanyl and I'm surprised he hasn't got got that yet
