dededelete this I don’t think bulbmin has an onion canonically because they are just being taken over by Parasites. Maybe a parasite onion but not a bulbmin union
@Ian Miscenich it is seen in pikmin2 that "teenage" bulbmin has several small bulbmin with it, and follow it like children, and if they are the children. That would mean the bulborb would either A: The bulborb reproduces with seeds already inside them, those seeds being from the adult bulbmin parasite. Or B: the bulborb reproduces and the bulbmin parasite then infects the baby bulborbs with it seeds, or other reproduction means. There have been many parasites that have done things like B, only infecting an already adult insect that will become the youngs food. Either way this type of pikmin (bulbmin) would be the first of it's kind to be able to reproduce without an onion.

When he barely got the blue pikmins he went from 6 to 40 without sprouting more since he already had 100 on the field? Any idea how? Do the unsprouted pikminds just go to their onion?

@danieljliversLXXXIX The gamecube version has a seperate category for speed running. The record holder is mokaygee. Considering the disadvantages compared to the npc version, the records aren't far off.
I have played the wii version of pikmin so many times, the sounds of the enemys are off so much and the timing for the part going into the ship is shorter than usual that and the fact that the sound que for when olimar wants them all to form a line isnt in this gameplay and it can be heard both in game and out the controller
What on earth is going on with the sounds? The sleeping Bulborbs are making this strangled squeaking noise instead of the original snore sounds, all the sound design is drastically altered, for the negative, for other creatures as well.
Anonie324 Yeah, the wii version does that. Other than the bulborb’s cry after they die (which I actually liked) the other changes I barely notice. Honestly, the sleeping noise sounds better in the wii version in my opinion because If bulborbs were real, thats how I feel they would sound like. The original, while good, doesn’t sound as realistic and sounds more human

When there’s 100 pikmin in the field, no more can sprout, instead any new pikmin just spawn in the onion.
