It looks like the HP5 was actually set up on the left hand side, which would account for its earlier detection when the animals approach from the left?
Hi, both scenes were actually recorded from the same point. There could be some difference in the vertical angle of both trail cameras, however, the difference in the final view is caused mainly by the wider angle of view of HP5.

Hi Erik, yes, the sound in this video is from the HP5. We have several pieces of HP4 and we didn't have problem with sound quality, maybe you just had bad luck and got a trail camera with broken microphone? Were you able to fix it somehow? Thanks for letting us know.

I decided to buy a kit of 5 microphones from Aliexpress for $7.50. Model: Panasonic microphone WM-61A102CW I opened the camera, released two wires on the motherboard and let the microphone out through the 12V supply, I made a small capsule for the microphone because of the rain. The sound was simply excellent, I was very surprised by the incredible quality of the sound. Listen to the background sound in this footage. Sounds have been increased by +15DB in adobe premiere pro. @@gearcheckers Používam externý akumulátor 12V. Mal som Recon Force Advantage a tá šlapala niekolko rokov bez problémov, až kým mi ju neukradli. Ale táto HP4 nejak blbne keď je zima. Stláčam tlačidlá a žiadna reakcia, potom sa samá od seba vypne a zapne a zase bez reakcie.. Mám ju na jednom mieste už od mája a šlapala pekne až do teraz. Možno vyskúšam tie lítiové aj ja..

Tá HP4 nechce fungovať keď je pod nulou, už ste sa s tým stretli?
Zaujímavé, takýto problém sme nemali ešte ani s jedným modelom od Browningu. Takmer vždy v nich používame kvalitné lítiové baterky.

@@viktorskalican1980 problem pretrváva, alebo uz funguje normalne ? kolko vám vydržia tie baterky v nej v zima/leto ?
@@MrRaduso Teraz tam je 1,5m snehu tak neviem. Keď tam pojdem, tak dám vedieť. Používam externý akumulátor 12V.
