This hike starts off from a campground, but there is plenty of parking. You will be in the trees without much view until Skeleton Lake about 1.5 miles in. After that, it's all mountain and lake views. The pass is 100% worth doing, and duck lake is a beautiful deep blue. Definitely on the short list to backpack in further from here. 😁👍🏻
