And they show that animated silhouette of Batman walking away for the balcony edge Kind like Disney has done in their older movies lol That was classic Batman brought to life on the big screen

@@VZAAGE @VZA I don't know exactly why. Kyrahiko gave me a warning and a notice of banning in the same message which effectively cut off my ability to communicate with her and the other mods. And so I joined her Discord to voice my protest and to ask why, while tagging BAMFart as a witness. Once it became very clear that it was not up for discussion in our very brief exchange, I asked her if she believed in karma, and someone mentioned that I should work for a church, to which I replied maybe I should because I fear God...and so should you. At that she banned me from her Discord. Fortunately I did have a few defenders publicly ask why in Jim's general Discord channel to which all of their inquiries were immediately shut down by Kyrahiko and PoopKid - who has hated me since the beginning without reason. And those who asked were explicitly warned not to publicly speak of it but instead to DM the mods, to which Ranger50 DM-ed PoopKid, who promptly refused to answer specifics beyond saying that Ranger should should never speak to me again because I would suck his soul. When pressed, Poopkid simply ignored him. Meanwhile Kyrahiko would only say that I allegedly threatened her on her Discord AFTER she banned me from Jim's - which somehow validates my banning from Jim's. This happened last weekend (the day before Jim drew this Batman on wood), and you can read it on the General. It's sickening and soul sucking that no one ever gave me, or anyone, a specific reason beyond I broke the rules about disrespecting mods and members...but whom and how?! Fortunately through some sympathizers I was able to relay a message to Crispy to at least have my posted art from the last 6 months removed, which at least they were cool enough to do that. Aside from that, the whole affair was terribly unfair with being slandered while forced into silence without a chance to defend myself. It all started (I think) earlier in the day when she deleted my latest post in the Artist Alley with the notification that links are not allowed in that section. But I'd been linking (rather than uploading) my images there for nearly 6 months and no one ever said anything, so I was quite surprised by that one removal and the overbearing authority of her public notification. And so I asked why and what the point was, under the assumption that the no links/original art only description was to prevent gifs and links to other's art. She took my questioning as hostility and told me to calm down and she'd DM me. By the time that she DM-ed me I had already uploaded (not linked) two other images. In the DM she restated the no links policy with the assertion that I shouldn't be surprised that she'd take action for not complying and how if I'm unable to obey the rules, then no one is forcing me to be on the server. It was terribly rude. And I replied that yeah, of course I'm surprised that after 6 months of posting dozens of links (including those 17 Batman motifs) she'd just now say something in such an authoritarian way as to push her weight around....and I pointed out that I've already complied with the two new uploads. She apparently took that personally and hours later issued the warning AND banning in the same message out of nowhere. My best guess is that she was upset about something entirely unrelated and decided to push herself on me, to which my basic common sense questions embarrassed her without answers and she ran to PoopKid, who again has been nothing but rude, crude, and nasty to me BEFORE he was made a mod, and he jumped at the opportunity to ban me. And then the next few days when people began to publicly ask, they were both too embarrassed to talk about it because they abused their authority and had no sensible reason to give.
Granted I was officially warned once (along with Poopkid - which might still be a pinned post in Misc) due to a debate that spiraled out of control back around Christmas that led to Kyrahiko shutting down the Misc for about a week. And that was ridiculous, it was a debate where I took the position that videogames (by definition of being a game - a sport) are not art. For the most part I was referencing Hideo Kojima - world famous videogame designer of the Metal Gear series. But that caused several people to lose their minds which devolved the reasonable debate into a barrage of personal insults against me, which made me a few enemies because gamers like any other addicts are triggered into animalistic fight or flight when their primary source of dopamine is perceived to be threatened. It could be likened to going to a smokers online forum and laying out a solid reasonable case against smoking because of the indisputable damage and health risks, and the more solid evidence you present, the crazier and more vicious they become...and it doesn't matter that you may have the best intentions, in fact that might make it worse. I wasn't on a crusade against videogames, it was just a passing comment that kinda sucked me in and I was under the impression that we could have intelligent conversation and debate. I was gravely mistaken. And the mods didn't care about anything beyond quelling the ensuing uproar, and I don't think Jim did either. And that seems to be the situation now, except two of the four mods had it in for me and both aggressively tried to hush it up.
Hearing only your side of the story (not to say that it isn't the truth) that does seem like too cruel of a punishment. Hopefully someone unrelated to the incident and without invested feelings can intervene and lay down something more reasonable. As an outside party I will say that some of your posts do come off as a bit offensive. I like some of your takes and the fact that you actually support your arguments with reason but you sometimes go a bit too far. I too have a tendency to need to prove my point and I've lost more in my life than chat privileges on a message board because of it. At the end of the day some points just aren't worth proving. People are entitled to their opinions even when they are wrong. You can try to pull them up to safety but there's no use going down on the sinking ship with them when they're too stubborn. Is this a permanent ban? I hope not... it's a great community and I can see how much it means to you. If it is or isn't then use the lesson and/or time to reflect and learn to communicate more effectively while still getting your point across and also learn that doing right is more important than being right. Last but not least... Karma is indeed real. God is fair, everything happens for a reason, and balance shall be restored if there has been injustice.
